I think Jay would like it if I used the over the door shoe holder at home, too. He loves that everything is right there where he can see it.

Not all of them actually fit over the doors, but I've discovered that they hang nicely over a picture on the wall. The pictures are secured so that they will never fall off the wall, so the extra weight doesn't hurt them.
We've also hung the shoe holder (with toiletries in it) from a towel bar, and on a hanger when necessary.

I like the idea of tossing dirty clothes into a duffel. I use those HUGE new Ziplok bags as hampers, but then I have to empty it all into suitcases at the end of the cruise. Then again, with four adult size people, one duffel full of dirty clothes would be over the airline weight limit. Hmmm

I finally have a little bit of free time and my wife decided which shore excursion to do on Cozumel. So, I log into the DCL website to change our one-day CC package to the 2 day CC excursion package. It will only let me sign my wife up for the 2 day package. Keep in mind that my wife and I are signed up for the exact same things on CC for both days. But the computer still won't let me sign myself up for the package. I try to sign us up for the excursion on Cozumel, and the opposite happens...I cannot sign my wife up for the excursion, but I can sign myself up! No conflicts at all! Somehow I doubt that there is only one remaining set of snorkeling gear/bicycle/floats at CC! And I doubt that there is only one seat remaining on the Cozumel excursion. I called DCL last night (right around their quitting time) and was promised a call back today. We will see what happens.

Sorry about the rant, but I had to blow off a little steam. Anyone else having problems like this?

BTW, we are doing (trying to do anyway) the San Gervasio Ruins excursion too! Should be a lot of fun.

I think I booked all of our excursions under my name...and that's for five of us. I just had to either mark or enter the number of people who were going on each excursion.

Thanks! Still have the cough- it's taken up residence. I think it's because we're passing around some virus, or something, from person to person in this household. I can't get over it- I'm "re" getting it because the kids are passing it from one to another. LOL

Between the 2 - I'd focus on getting rid of that cough - you don't want it to spoil your cruise....if it has taken up residence you may wish to see the MD....we are almost at 30 day countdown timer.

my 2 cents if no one else has answered......I would call them back...I ran into trouble, called, they said...that is not possible, I said, that is what is on the screen, they said, let me check, they checked, they said, oh my etc etc....did you try canceling your cc and starting over? can you change the party size to 3/4 and then try????????????

Fresh Cornish Hens for us for Easter, along with grilled sweet yellow, orange and red peppers, mushies, onions, and boiled new potatoes....Perhaps a melon salad to start and a simple store bought dessert.....Appetizers, deviled eggs of course, shrimp, smoked salmon and white asparagus........And the best part, Sam does the grilling, so I get to focus on the fru-fru.....

Our shoe holders (I swipe them out of the kids' closets) hang over the closet rod instead of over the door. So, they're tucked out of the way...

Pam,

I just noticed something on the Cozumel Ruins & Beach Tour. When I reserved it in March, the time said "12:00 pm to 4:30 pm" - now it says "9:00 am to l:45 pm" (which sounds much better!)

When you booked that excursion, did you notice the times? I'm wondering if there were several of these tours and now they've narrowed it down to just one or what?

I check our reservation every couple of weeks just to make sure things are still there!!

Honest, I keep reading about the split baths - it should have a disclaimer you know......for broom closets
