Say I wanted to purchase LLMP for AK and LLPP for another park on the same day. Would I be able to do that at all, and in advance?

We have 4 day park hoppers to play with, Saturday thru Tuesday, May 10 - 13.

I'm throwing around LLMP for MK, Epcot, and HS. We tend to only spend mornings at AK, so I would want to hop to another park that day.

Also, MK has an After Hours event on that Monday. Are those days still considered to be less crowded during the day at MK? Otherwise, which day should be best for us at MK?

Yes, Disney is happy to take your money. And you can even use your LLMP that you purchased for AK at another park you visit that same day to book additional LLMP attractions if they are available.

No After Hours Events don't cut the normal park hours short so no real crowd changes. It can often make the evenings busier since guests with After Hours tickets are let in at 7 PM.

Any day is a good day use a LLPP at MK.

OP you really want to buy LLMP which can be used at any of the parks on the same day if you have a PH and then you also want to spend hundreds of dollars per person to get LLPP at one of the parks for that same day???

You can but I think that's a waste of money.

I know, it sounds coocoo-crazy. But, I just want to have a stress free as possible trip. We will both be on scooters, and it's just hard to be on your phone all the time making LL's and adjustments to those LL's when your are scooterfied. Not to mention that the DH doesn't make any of those arrangements, so it's all on me.

No not at all and it makes sense why you would want a LLPP. But many guests confuse the different LL options, LLPP, LLMP, and LLSP. That's why someone will often try to make sure that you really want an LLPP ( 1 attraction experience to all all LL attractions in a park ) at a premium price.

Yes but why would you chose to do this other than to waste your money on getting a handful of double rides.

Dave
Let's take money/cost out of the equation. Please explain what you mean by double rides. LLMP doesn't cover all rides in a given park. For example, Guardians.

Guardians is a LLSP so you pay fir that one ride individually so you can purchase LLMP and LLSP for the same day if you wish.

With LLPP you can ride ever LL ride in a park on a sibgke day and do not need to make any LL reservations. It’s a great option but comes at a much higher price.

LLMP plus LLPP would allow you to ride some rides in a park twice on the same day. One time without a reservation, another time with a reservation. With LLMP though you are not able to ride all attractions in a park as home attractions will fill for LLMP reservations so you would need to wait in the standby line if you wanted to ride it in addition to LLPP.

Does that help or more clarification needed?

I'm not following. If I book LLMP 7 days in advance for EPCOT, can I book LLPP for Guardians the day I enter EPCOT before I use any LLMP? Not sure what LLSP is.

LLPP allows you to go on all attractions that have a lightning lane. The pass virtually checks off each attraction you enter. You don't need to pre-book anything. Buy the pass and enter the attraction anytime you want.

Have you used the Express Pass at Universal? LLPP works just like that but no rerides.

Not sure what LLSP is.
Lightning Lane Single Pass.

LLSP is what you want to book for Guardians - it stands for Lightning Lane Single Pass, an LL for one specific ride.

LLPP stands for Lightning Lane Premier Pass. It allows you to ride EVERY LL ride in the park you buy it for, but only once.

LLMP is Lightning Lane Multi Pass, and you can prebook 3 rides in one park, then on the day-of, as you use one LL, you can book another.

OK you are confused about LLSP and LLPP. LLSP is for (1) attraction per park except at MK which has (2) Tron, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

LLPP is a Premier Pass - which for HS is $269 - $339 per day this month which is (1) ride for each attraction that has a Lightning Lane (LL).

For all (3) types of LLSP, LLMP, and LLPP it is up to 7 Days before for resort guests or 3 Days before for off-site guests. Day of purchases for any of the (3) is more limited based on availability.

I was glad that I had both for MK. Several of the top tier rides that I expected to use at my leisure were down most of the day. I ended up using my LLMP for two favorite rides that I used LLPP for earlier in the day. I had about 8 rides that I wanted to get through at MK using my LLPP but lines were long and Tiana and 7 Dwarfs had only 2 short bursts of functioning, both of which happened when I was on other rides.

It was appx. $500 for the one MK LLPP. That's a ridiculous price per ride if you cannot get on top rides due to weather or in my case, broken attractions. Totally my fault. People that love the LLPP are people who had all top tier rides available throughout the day and were blessed with no ride closures due to poor weather. I thought I would be one of them. My failing to consider all possibilities led me to make a purchase that I was convinced would give me a worry free day.

I have tried twice to write an addendum to my message above but the ad takeover on the boards keeps erasing them.

Trying again.
***VERY IMPORTANT- If you purchase LLPP and the ride you want is down all day, customer service will ONLY give you a one-time pass for the exact ride that you missed. There are no anytime passes allowed if you are on a LLPP. Crazy. The CM suggested that I pay regular MK admission on another day and then I could come into MK and ride the 2 specific one-time rides that I missed out on. That was supposed to be good news I think.

This is odd considering that with LLMP if you have a ride booked near park closing it will flip to an anytime good on the same tier or lower the next day. I had one from RnRC going down late at night and it was good on any LLMP ride the next day since RnRC is a tier 1 ride.

You have good information for park close. I left before that time as the two rides I wanted to go on were not anticipated to open later. I think I left about an hour before the 9(?)pm parade as I had been in the park since EE that morning.

Thanks for your update.
