Too funny, I'm sure mine would be the same and here I was thinking I was the only lucky parent who's kids thought the floor was an extention of the laundry room and closet!!! DD and I had the talk earlier about putting the clothes down the shoot instead of on the floor and then I can wash them!!!!

Making the kids responsible for their own laundry was the best thing we did this year. Since 1/1 we have not worried about it. In fact, Matt is doing laundry right now....probably needs clothes for tomorrow.

The thread has doctors, winos, HH, welders, accountants.......but is there a mechanic in the house?

Matt and I changed the oil pump and oil sensor on his Jeep this weekend because 0 oil pressure. Still no oil pressure.

Who can come over an fix it for me?

Jay knows about that stuff, too.....but he took Jared for baseball pictures. I'll ask him when he gets back, if you haven't gotten an answer. BUT...if he comes down there, can I come too???? :worship: :worship:

COMMANDO! :earseek:

Jordan does her own laundry, ever since she complained about how I did it.

Jared is just about at that point. But he's pretty smart....he learned not to complain, because he knows what the alternative is.

DH complained years ago about the way I fold his shirts so he has been doing his own laundry since then and these days he does a lot of mine and the kids too, my kids know better than to complain but wish they would so they can learn what life is about!!! :confused3

I guess I need to sign off and go to the grocery store. I told Jay he was bad...he should have stocked up for our return!

TTFN

P.S. It is WAY too hot here today! :sunny:

I could send my brother or give you his number!!!

Mark, do you mind if I try take the signature design and change the lettering to black, do you remember which font you used for the rounded writing and I can imagine that is going togive me a hard time especially that I have no patience!!!

Mary made that up in PictureIt!, dunno what font or even how at this point, don't have a saved version other than the one on the website. She's going to try to fiddle with it some.

We tried talking about what "life" is all about in our family meeting today. I don't think they get it. Time to get tough and toss them to the wolves.

YEA! A T.O.P. with Julia!!!! :cheer2:

Was kind of busy ferreting out all the gfx we've made for theis trip. :)

Here's a quick webpage with links to everything that's up there, Mary can doll it up later on. If there's something else that'd be useful, we might be able to fiddle with some of these, the curved text is the real bothersome item to fiddle with.

Mark, these are fantastic! Thanks!!!

Julia - will this work for you? I'm not sure if it is a perfect match but should work.

I've been meaning to ask if there has been (and I'm sure there has) a discussion about what we all do. Y'all know what I do now :woohoo:(and can I tell you, this is the first Sunday in months that I haven't just been dreading tomorrow?). Used to be in HR. Jim is a software engineer for Sirius Satellite Radio. (So sorry, Jim, he can't help you with that problem.) Just wondering if we've compiled a list anywhere...

Hi all!

I've been lurking this weekend ... had a few minutes to keep up here & there but no time to post. We've been busy with house & yard work. Bruce spent all of yesterday in the yard, then today reorganizing the garage. I've been doing house work. My parents are coming in on Fri. so I need to get the house somewhat clean ... no need to be spotless since they KNOW how I live!

I've taken Mark's basic page and added some slight background graphcis to it. I've added the one with the black text that I posted a few posts back.

Last, but not least, I've added a link to this new page from our main page to make it easy for everyone to get to.

Enjoy!

Kevin, last night we watched the video from our last liveaboard. It really gave me the bug to go again. I'm searching the Flower Garden for the best time! :thumbsup2
I don't remember the best time from my past research. I do remember that they recommend to time dives with the coral spawning (Hey, I said spawning again.... :rotfl: ) It's suppose to be pretty amazing!!

All the mini door magnets (using Stacey's Team Scoopie design) are printed. Now they just have to be cut up and they will be ready to include with the buttons and navigators.

Now I just have to work on our personal door signs.

What program do you all use to do your door signs? I'm anxious to get started on mine. Thanks....
