Hey, I resemble that remark....

Did we hear from Jim yesterday - he must be traveling!!!!!

I was around. Just had nothing to say. But then, why do we need anything to say to post.

I've been fighting computer problems all week at the office. Once I get home I really don't want to spend more time on the computer which is why I pressured washed the driveway, changed headlights in Sharon's car,......

A MORNING TOP WITH WINE PACKAGE INFORMATION

Diana - we were disppointed with the wine package on our November cruise. We ordered by the glass in January and really thought the wine package would be a good idea, in fact we were looking forward to it....Perhaps it was our server, perhaps we did not understand, perhaps wine packages are not for us...but...

I thought we could have 7 bottles of wine and if I wanted a glass of botle 1 and a glass of bottle 2 and a glass of bottle 3, it would work that way Not really, They intend for the 2 of you to have one bottle each night. Sam and I like different types of wine, so already we start with 2 bottles. That was accomodated, but then the next night, the half bottles were on the table. I did not want that wine with what I ordered, I wanted a different bottle. Then when we went to Palo's, we decided to use one of our wine package bottles for me (remember I was slightly seasick). Apparently, they do not keep your wine when you go to Palo's for the table the next day. Much apologies and inquiries about how much was left etc. so wine did not arrive until after first course. And of course, you have a tendency to drink more than you wold if you were ordering by the glass. (OK, what is wrong with that?),

Now our tablemates had a good experience. They used the traditional approach as they ordered one bottle after selecting their meal and drank the same wine together.

As many things, it is a good concept if it works for you. I think we will resort to the wine by the glass. That way I can try 2 or more wines each night if I like.......

Comments posted for whatever they are worth...

Thirsty now...

Know that drill - work computer has decided to lock up....good thing I have a lap-top.

Speaking of cars, mine now has no air at all. It needs a new motor and fan???? At least it is still under warranty....

Irene, good points about the wine package.

I pack many different kinds of wine. During the day I'll swing by the restaurant for the night and check out their menu. From that I will pick my wine for the evening. I would hate to think that I had to finish off a bottle of wine until I could start my next one.

Really big wine glasses....that is my ticket to a personalized wine package. Just fill that really big wine glass before I go and I'll be happy for the night.

Good morning cruisers!

Happy Thursday!

Went to bed early and woke up to 5 pages to read this morning. :)

I've gotten a couple of e-mails over the past couple of days with updates to the gallery. I will try to get to them as quickly as I can but work has been a little crazy and I've just been too beat at night. Please be patient with me.

Good Morning All -

Cruise Question

Parents, are you bringing Game Boys, etc on the cruise?

I don't want to get the look from Nick.

We allow them in the car, but they stay there. Our thinking is that if they want to play Game Boys they can stay home. Same thing goes for computer time. I only get it for work, but no chating etc. All that can wait until we get home. There are things to do on the ship that can't be done at home.

However, nothing will save you from getting the look. What ever you did will be wrong. That's just the way it is. ;)

Interviews are over, post interview discussion is over, offers are going out soon. Now we just wait and see what 3-4 candidates we end up with for summer training. We had a very good group this year.

Well, I guess I'll go cross stitch. Try and get some more of that Suzy Zoo birth announcement done. That is, if I can force myself to stay away from the Photomosaic puzzle that KT hauled out the other day. My goodness that thing is hard, but addicting.

Anyone ever done one of those before??

yep, we were given a Mickey Mouse one - We finished Mickey but gave up on the blue background - I carefully put it back in the box in large sections. Mike loves working puzzles with grandma and grandpa, since they're here - he's desperately trying to convince Grandpa to work on that one too...They finished a space station one yesterday. My dad doesn't like working puzzles that often because he gets so obsessed -

So, Jim - do you bring glasses as well as wine?

Really big glasses that is :confused3

This is what Jim took on the 10 day. :)

We leave here Saturday at 11:40 and get to Anaheim at noon. Gotta love that time change!! It will take us longer to drive to the airport than it does to fly over there...almost.
And we come back on Thursday...at lunch time.
Plenty of time to sleep in and then take our time exploring the parks. No need to rush. Yea!

the park-that-shall-not-be-named? ;)

Nick doesn't bring it when he comes to stay with me. I tell him about the same thing you said. Plus I am jealous that he likes spending time with GB rather than me! Thanks.

I am thinking that CJ has gotten elft out of the 11 yr old boy email ring???:confused3
But Amanda, does he know about the cruise, yet? My CJ sent out a generic 'can't wait for the cruise' e-mail to the other 3. Didn't want to sent THAT one to CJ.

That's one reason we stopped at 2 kids. Can't have THEM outnumber you.
The trick is to have 2, and after they are almost out of the house, have another one...
