Cruise Question

Parents, are you bringing Game Boys, etc on the cruise?

I don't want to get the look from Nick.

Sue

Mike brings his for the plane trip - but, they stayed in his backpack during the cruise - there was so much going on it wasn't an issue and he forgot about it...When the kids crashed in the room or 1st thing in the a.m. - they turned on the Disney Channel. We don't have cable TV so, it was a novelty for them...

:lmao:

That's a great picture - maybe I should have done a brick then I would be there permanently...(or until they refurbish...)

Our brick is at WDW. Great location near the Magic Kingdom. It is right near the boat launch over to the Poly and Grand Floridian - right near the monorail.

Stacey -- congrats to Jared on his big win. Sounds like a great game.

Was just over at DCL site filling out the online check in forms. I can't complete hubby's yet, since I don't have his passport number. I guess with the online check in, we won't get the cruise packet before leaving. Stacey -- you probably know the answer to that one. BTW -- when do you leave for DL. Have a great time.
And they wanted our Castaway Club numbers. I know what mine and DH's are, but can't find DS's. I e-mailed DCL, but haven't heard back from them. DS's number is either one below mine, or one above DH's.

Caleb will have his gameboy, mostly because he'll play it on the airplane, and because he'd go through Lego Star Wars withdrawl :rotfl: :confused3 .

The trick is to have 2, and after they are almost out of the house, have another one...

OH NO!! I can't wait that long in between. I barely have enough patience at THIS age. I doubt it if I'll have any later on in life. As a matter of fact, I KNOW I won't. I'll be bananas by then.

The boys will probably bring their GameBoys but they will most likely stay in their backpacks during the cruise. I don't foresee them even remembering that they have them. Or needing them for that matter.

edited to add: Well looky looky....a TOP with the boys and their toys....

Works about the opposite in our house. I don't do the big scary things. Mike gets the honors. Or now we send them alone (stand in line with them, put them on the ride, meet them at the exit) :)

In fact, they are trying to convince me to go to Cedar Point with them this summer. KT will be able to ride the REALLY big rides, but they aren't sure what to do with Nick b/c he won't be able to ride them. They want me to go so I can watch Nick and "as long as I'm there they'll convince me to ride ___________" (fill in scary ride name here)

They went on and on and on about it until I finally said I refuse to go, that I'd rather stay home and not have to face their endless peer pressure to ride something that will make me sick. :)

Besides, I ENJOY that day off!!!!! :)

One good thing about Cedar Point is...after you ride some of their rides...nothing Disney can throw at ya is bad at all. :rotfl2: ..but then again...I LOVE rollercoasters!!

Mike :earsboy:

Guess I got here too late for everyone tonight. We had to drive up for dinner at MIL's and we got home about 8. then sat down and watched a movie. lastnight it was Flightplan and tonight it was Redeye. Both really good. Don't usually have time to watch movies, but with the kids on spring break, it is a nice way to spend the evening, instead of rushing from one practice to another.

Thx for the movie suggestions. My Netflix queue has gotten a little boring. I had forgotten about Flightplan. And Redeye's description looks interesting. :)

Well, that explains why I'm already  now. No other explanation.

I'll show this to Jared tomorrow...they have "early out" tomorrow and Friday, then Spring Break starts. He'll love it.....almost as much as seeing the cute "real" ones this weekend.
But I haven't seen any of them fall yet.....
Good thing Jared's smarter than me....he won't FALL for it! ;)

Cool...a T.O.P. with Ohminnie, Jared and cute cheerleaders!

pixiedust: pdfg

SILLY! Of COURSE they won't fall. Didn't you see the cables holding them up? They are cross tied. :lmao:

if I didn't do those place holders they ended up more like this:

:cheer2:
:cheer2: :cheer2:
:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:
etc.

Hey, we have one of those, too. Sometimes I can't wait until he goes to bed cause my ears get a break. :rotfl2:

When my parents watch the kids I'll always get a complaint from my dad. He'll say "My EARS are bleeding!!!" referring to how MUCH my two kids talk. Nick isn't as talkative....unless KT is gone, and then he doesn't stop!! But if KT is there she dominates.

After the treadmill, watching Amazing Race, Survivor and AI from the DVR, I'm off to older DD's over in western Illinois today and won't be back until later tomorrow. Hard telling how many pages I'll have to catch up on, but I get to help feed the babies at the dairy (insert cow smilie here).
