GREAT job on the Navigator Mary! :teeth: Is anyone planing on bringing their fish extenders? If you don't know what a fish extender is, it is a thing you hang on the fish by your room door to put messages and and little trinkets for fellow Diser's in. We used them on the DVC member cruise and they worked well :) I don't remember where we got them fron though. I know a lady was selling them on E-Bay! Mary, do you remember who it was?

Mike :earsboy:

Mike - we didn't have a fish extender on the Member Cruise but bought one after from Mrs.Lips on ebay. If she doesn't have one up for sale e-mail her. She was happy to put one up for me. Ours is lime green. The popularity with them started on the May repo cruise.

What is the world is a "FISH EXTENDER", do you have a picture you could post, and what is it used for?

Raddison has a good breakfast buffet and it is included in our reservation it gets you prepared for the cruise. Not sure where the Grill is.

That sounds good to me. As long as I could get something to eat and the kids are happy.

We ate at the Radisson before our last cruise. The buffet was nice, but the lines for omelette and eggs were pretty long. Since 2 adult buffets came with the room, we only had to pay for the kids. It was a good deal because of that. I think it's pricey!

I wonder if there is such a thing as a MONKEY EXTENDER?? If there is, then someone on this group would definitely have one!!! :lmao: :lmao:

MARY - Good job on the "Not-so-mini" Mini-navigator :thumbsup2 . I don't see my wife and I listed as "Yes" for buttons and the mini-nav. Could you please add us to your magic spreadsheet? Thanks!

Counting down the weeks! Cannot wait!

A way back (too far to try and find it :rolleyes1 ) people were asking about pre-cruise plans. We are going to be at WDW the 24th through the 27th (staying at AKL.) We could possibly meet up with anyone else who is doing the pre-cruise WDW goodness.

Currently working on my magnetic door signs. It is a challenge for a non-creative person like myself.

The fish extender is the green mickey organizer that hangs from your message fish. As Mike stated it was used to leave little messages and trinkets in for your fellow cruisers. It was real popular on the repo cruise. We had some repo cruise folks who told the Member Cruisers about it and they got ones as well. We thought it was cute and since we'll be sailing with some many of the same Member Cruisers in October went ahead and got one. We plan on bringing it on the May cruise.

Like i said on ebay look for a Mickey organizer or look up Mrs. Lips.

Cruise News Deadline!

Well I was going to scrapbook today but I started thinking about the mini-navigator and what I wanted to do with it this year. One suggestion from the last time was to have the listing in both alpha order and numeric. To do that I'd have to go to a bigger sheet. Well since I was going to a bigger sheet I thought I would make the navigator bigger and better too. Here is the mock up of the front and back cover.

http://monorailgreen.info/May06/Navigator.jpg

The plan is to print this out on 11 x 17 and fold in half so it is the same size as the DCL navigator (so no longer really a mini):rotfl:

Here's where the deadline comes in. The plan is to have these printed and inserted into envelopes with the buttons and mini magnets. We will then ship these all down to Jim like we did on the 10 day cruise. That means production needs to be finished at least one week ahead of time. So the offical cut-off to be included in the navigator and for buttons will be Sunday May 7th.

Please is you are lurking and just thinking about this act now. Every cruise we have people who lurk and then pop in at the last minute and want to be included and get upset when they can't be. I don't want to leave anyone out but we have to have enough time to produce, coordinate, and ship these.

So for the next 7 weeks I will include this reminder with the weekly countdown.

Thanks to everyone who has already given their information. You need do nothing.

Mary & Mark - The "mini" navigators look awesome. Thank you sooo much for doing this. You are way too good to us and we may have to "Stalk" you from now on and only cruise with you guys. We are all truly blessed by you generosity and kindness(how's that for buttering you up? Is it working?) No, seriously, thank you very much. It looks great.

:confused3 My DH and I were wondering if anyone else on the cruise would be interested in playing some Mah Jong. We could bring our set. We play with the Wright-Patterson rules.

Paul - sorry about that. I did get your e-mail. You are now added on the spreadsheet and the web page. See that's why I like to post these announcements so that people can catch where I make mistakes. :)

Mary,

Thanks for the picture of the "Fish Extender". Anyone say theirs was stolen? I liked all your message boards on the door. It reminds me of college.

Are there still plans for dinner at JB's? Jim I think you were going to see if the Rock Shrimp would be in season at the end of May. Who all is up for dinner there?

We are planning on doing Grills for Breakfast on Saturday morning. Someone mentioned some unique things on their menu and Mark is interested so that's where we'll go.

Karen (OM) glad to hear you guys like the Hampton Inn as that is where we are staying. We'll have a rental car that we pick up on Friday and drop off on Saturday.

YEAH - a top with Mark, Karen, Grills, and anyone who is going to JB's :lmao:

I think someone on the repo cruise might have had a problem with one missing. Mark brough lime green zip ties that he passed out to people for the Member Cruise. I didn't hear of any of them walking away.

I'm not sure. Do you just play the "matching" type game with the chinese tiles? If so, then no. Our game is like playing cards. It's the game the ladies played in Joy Luck Club.

You are very welcome. All part of just trying to help make the cruise special. We have found that the friendships we've made from these cruises have more than repaid us for doing these small things.

Plus it isn't just us. You did a lot of work on the shirts, Pam on the bags, Sue & Stacey with the dining, Monica & Maggie organizing Scoopie. It is all part of the community known as the Double Scoop Group!
