Can someone tell me is the luau at Sea World is worth seeing as compared to the one at the Poly? We haven't been to either and are trying to decide which to do. We'll already be at Sea World for a day.

Back to the race, now.

I've never tried either one... can't help you there...

Could it be "pixie dust fairy godmother"? I'm just trying to guess something while I patiently wait for a response.... pixiedust:

When you post a Quick Reply like this, how do you get an icon to show up in here? I can only get them in a "full" post reply.

alright everybody our ti vo messed upright after the caution on lap 12, can any one tell we what happened after that. :confused3 :furious:

It'd be much easier to tell you what didn't happen after lap 12 in that the race, for a dedicated race fan, was seriously the worst one of the weekend. Just completely a mess from beginning to end.

Here's a lap by lap thing on Nascar.com: http://www.nascar.com/2006/races/lapbylap/02/19/daytona_500/index.html

I'm not much of a fan of plate tracks, not racing, more like a running lotto machine with 43 balls in it.

My only hope for Daytona is that the weekend gets thru incident free, and I can't claim that yet. The last accident a large piece of the back of the #2 car flew up over the fence and landed in the backstrech grandstand, can only hope whoever it hit is ok.

I ment after the caution with 12 laps left, i'm sorry. I need to have sandi start proof reading my post's, but thanks anyway mark. :crazy2:

Oh that's easier, they have another 1 car incident and a green/white/checker finish. Everybody behind the 48 kept shuffling among themselves, nobody drafting together, and he won it easily. And the crowd was totally silent. No cheering, no booing, nothing except them getting up and leaving while he did a polish victory lap with the checkered flag, was kind of eerie. And I already mentioned about the 12 to mess above.

Back from a day at Animal Kingdom! We went so that Kelly and I could try the new Everest ride. (Steven and Dave did it while we were in CO during passholder sneak peek)

It is awesome!!!!! Well worth the special trip to Animal Kingdom. Get there as soon as the gates open, like we did, and ride it over and over until the line gets to long. We rode it 7 times!!!!!

A great Disney Day!!! :cool1:

Not sure if this has been addressed yet (I just don't have the time to keep up with the volume of postings here) but....

If we don't go to Cozumel will they definitely add another port or could they just add another day at sea? If they add a day at sea is that reason enough to get a full refund? (ahead of time that is, not a unexpected change while on the boat)

Thoughts?

Basically, it says outright in your final cruise docs that there is no guarantee to take us anywhere.

That said, DCL will do their best to replace Cozumel with another port. They have already done so with all the cruises before and after ours, thru August, but the problem I think is causing a delay in possibly changing ours is the replacement for Cozumel has been Costa Maya for all the others. Obviously, since we're already going there they have to do something else IF they are not going to Cozumel.

The only time I've seen DCL offer a full refund was when they outright cancelled the cruise for Norwalk. If we cruise for a pleasant 7 days anywhere, they have fulfilled the contract as far as they're concerend.

Doubtful they'll do more than offer a shipboard credit and maybe free drinks if they just outright skip Cozumel. That has happened at least once before in a situation where the conditions were too poor to go ashore when they got there, and that was the action they took.

It's all been speculation at this time. :confused3 There was discussion of possibly stopping at Grand Cayman or Nassau, but no one knows. I doubt if there would be any full refunds offered after the payment due mark has passed due to any change of itinerary.

Tis ok- I also added a writeup of the last 12 laps above too if Larry didn't see it.
We both saw that, thanks. Our DVR stopped recording at the time the race was scheduled to end, not when it actually ended.
