Cloudy and 40's for our mid-week forecast, but I don't see any snow predicted .

On the way home from church last night we smelled someone's woodburner. We both commented on how we missed our wood stove that we had in our old house. We had to remove a woodburning furnace out of our house here when we moved in. Our insurance agent wouldn't cover us if we kept it in. Debating on getting a wood stove put in here. I don't think we'd have to mention it to the insurance guy would we?

It's not a wood burning stove, just a fireplace. Didn't get it to heat the house, just the ambiance of it. Although the family room gets nice and toasty.

I've udpated the gallery with two new columns to show if you have requested buttons and navigators. The B column is for buttons and shows how many are requested. The N column is for the mini-navigator and will show Y for yes or N for no.

Believe it or not, NO. I never really paid attention and nobody taught me. I am not bilingual in anything. Although I DO remember some Spanish from High School.

Thanks Maria! Believe it or not before I started doing the photo gallery and monthly newsletters for the 10 day cruise I had never done anything web wise. Thanks to Front Page and a very patient DH I've learned what to do over the years.

No... unfortunately not (though I would have LOVED to be). The 'volunteers' to be the concert crowd had to be there at 5:30AM, and had to sit in a secured location (away from the action) until the concert... then were escorted back out- they don't get to stay unless they had bought a ticket previously. We gave our infield tix away... I'm watching it from the couch.

I'm sure Ray was somewhere in the vicinity of the stage, as Jennifer Nettles was there...(he likes her... like most other red-blooded American men do...) last time I spoke to him this morning, he was transporting the 2 USA snowboarders to and from their appearances in the Daytona Club... he said that they look like they are 12 years old...

I agree, Mary... the card stunt was pretty cool!

NBC has WAAAAYY too many commercials!!!!

The only good thing about NBC having this race is that I finally get to watch it in HDTV.....

The local NBC station finally gave in and let Charter cable carry the Olympics in HDTV - and the feed is still live.....

Almost as good as being there.......

Hopefully - next year we will be there... or at least Frances (so she tells me....)

Can someone tell me is the luau at Sea World is worth seeing as compared to the one at the Poly? We haven't been to either and are trying to decide which to do. We'll already be at Sea World for a day.
