Okay - I am not working on taxes after all. I think I left one of my statements at the office.

Is there anyone out there that could come up with something to put on the back. I am just not any good at coming up with any design (no talent).

Mary -- what color were your shirts last time??

I think with going with 3 color on front logo and logo on back of shirts, the price would still be close to $10.00, which I don't think is bad for t-shirts. But again, I don't want to make the call. Hoping for input from everyone

This is what we came up with last time. Garry got the shirts, the Polo is very nice and comfy!! I wear it all the time.

The front view is more accurate on the color. The back view picture was taken at more of an angle.

The shirts were all different colors. I know we had two royal blue, one light blue, and one tie dye in this family.

$10 isn't bad for shirts.

Can't design anything though...I'm not creative like that. Give me cross stitch which tells me EXACTLY what color to put in which square!

I would have liked to have been here...If I HAD been here. I was only home from 4:00 to 5:00, and then out until 9:30. Just caught up reading!

I was the one who didn't think it would be a good idea to have "il pochi..." on shirts that we may possibly wear to Mexico. But what if we put "The few, the proud, the Blabbermouths" on the back? Or does no one want to be known for that?


I agree that it's hard to list the ports on there, not knowing about Cozumel yet.

If we only have 3 colors for the four "scoops" then are we making the two "Castaway Cay" (top and bottom) scoops the same color?

Or.....what if....(am I making you nuts yet??).......what if we had our DIS name on the front (pocket-area) and the cone on the back?

I'm not ignoring you. We have not known each other long enough for that yet.

I did consider the Montero. I have also owned a Mitsubishi before and was happy. I hold cars for 7-8 years, until I run them out so I don't get to try different brands very often. I want to try a brand that I have not owned before.

Ohiomommie.. thanks also... I may just take you up on that in the future but right now I'm just so worn out physically, emotionally, etc. that I just don't even want to get into it right now. I need a vacation NOW. LOL (the meeting went well- thanks for thinking of me! But not sure if it will make a difference and one meeting can't change all the issues we have going on right now- some of which have not a thing to do with the school. Yanno? )

About the shirts... I'm game for what everyone else wants. I do think that picture shown of the other cruise is pretty cool that the name is on the front though.
Just curious- why are we going with ash color? I assume that is like gray... just curious where that color choice came from? (no problem with it- JUST curious since someone mentioned previous shirts in various colors)

I don't care what y'all decide to put on them, I just hope I can figure out what sizes to get for each of us that will actually fit... even after washed.. especially if it's 100% cotton but preshrunk! Lord you never know how much, or if any, they will shrink when they are that type of shirt. LOL Will it shrink, if so how much will it shrink? or will it not shrink at all... those are the questions that cannot possibly be answered. LOL I'm just not up to worrying about it at the moment though. LOL

Although my countdown clock is a day ahead, since I set it for the day of the vacation start.......wheeeeeeeeee

Met with the vendor and looked at samples of the shirts. I at first thought I would like the 50/50 better. However, after seeing both of the shirts, the 100% cotton is a much nicer shirt. It is heavier, but will breath better than the one with the polyester. They are pre-shrunk so that is good as well. The Polo shirts are also very nice. I think Diana wanted to know if they came in Women's. This particular brand is a unisex, so the answer to that is no. We talked to Maria as well and I think Maria might have some more to add to this conversation.

We are putting in the drop-dead order date of April 15. She will then have the bags and shirts ready to ship out on May 1. I gave her a sample order form, however, I left some things off, so she is redoing it and will send it to me. We will need to make some definite decisions on the shirts though before final price can be determined. Anything more than 2 color will increase the price. I believe she said there would be an extra screen charge of $20 for each additional color, plus an extra .50 cents per color, per shirt.

The base prices with 2 colors will be around $6.50 for the t-shirts and around $13.50 for the Polos. For those that need plus sizes, add the following to the cost 2x = +$2, 3X = +$3 and 4X = +$4.

Just something else I wanted to add regarding the shirts. We are leaning towards not having anything printed on the back. If we do, that is going to be another charge for another screen and up the price. Mary had a suggestion of putting the ports listed on the back(like a concert T-shirt), but with Coz up in the air, maybe that's not a good idea. Whatever everyone wants to do. I don't mind, I'm going to buy them no matter what they cost.

Hey, I only have one of the 85 or so shirts, but I am fine with nothing on the back. Wiht long hair, you will not see it anyway.....

IMHO, small logo on left chest and a color shirt, use 3 colors for the design.

More on shirts - I take back my comment about something on the back, since the posts so far seem to be in favour and the added cost is not much for such a great shirt.

Hum, for a log on the back....a generic map...and yes, sharpies as we land at each island? I assume we will not print the names of the islands...(Here comes Mr. Sharpie again)

The Christmas shirts were very cool! We could do Dis Double Dip on the back as well. Or We could alter the Logo - Double Dip Mystery Western?

Or - Dis Double Dip Cruise - A TOP whereever we go.

In my experience with 100% cotton shirts that are pre-shrunk, I have found the do not shrink when you don't put them in a dryer....(so why did my dryer break if I never use it?)

They will be cool whatever they turn out to be...
