Regarding the car rental thing -- We are flying in on Thursday and I have a free one day rental from National. We plan on turning the car in on Friday night so that I don't have to pay a day's worth of rental. Our friends going with us will pick me up at National in Cocoa Beach to take me back to Rad, where she will turn in her car at Budget. We already have reservations for the first shuttle from the Radisson on Saturday morning.I do have a rental from Budget for the week after the cruise. Never used them before. Last time we cruised, i took the cab to National after the cruise, because of a great rate and that was when they would reimburse you for the cab rental as well.

This time let's do a Captain Marvin's!

Lisa and I used Captain Marvin's in Grand Cayman a few years ago. It was so much nicer than the "cruise ship - cattle boats". Lisa was a little intimidated by the Stingrays (she was 7 or so) so I don't know if she would want to do this or not. We had 3 stops - 2 for snorkling and one with the stingrays.

Well, you must keep in mind that we had been chatting for over a YEAR before you came. You ARE definitely helping us boost our numbers though.

I knew y'all were chatting... I just never could keep up and I got SO FAR behind it took much encouraging from many for me to dive headfirst back into this thread. LOL

Ps. I do think it's kinda mean to start a stingray are cute club, change shark picture to stingray/etc. all over me just saying I don't think they are cute. Just in case y'all didn't think that would be hurtful.. it was. No one wants to be the butt of jokes like that. Do you think I don't have feelings?

Oh my, if you don't want to be the butt of jokes, you may want to find another thread. I think we have ALL, at one point or another, been the butt of jokes. And, they don't go away, they keep coming back to haunt you over and over....

BUT, on the other hand, jokes or not,....we've ALL been here to support each other when that time was needed by one of the group...

OK...here I am again. Awake when I should be sleeping. Had some ice cream before bed and I think that bothered my tummy. Oh well. I'm starting to feel tired again. Thank God. I'm here on the couch watching the countdown to the top teen idol of the 80's. Waiting for number 1 and then laying down and going to bed. Can anyone pick who was #1? Britney Spears was #3, Rob Lowe #2, and (drumrole please) Molly Ringwald!! I don't know about that one.

I think Jim should get the Toyota Highlander Hybrid. Sounds like the best of both worlds to me.

This one even knows when its home!! (on the beach)

I looked at these. The back is not big enough for dive gear with 4 people. The back cargo area is narrow because of the wheelwells. Not a good design.

We looked at the them too. As a replacement for the Accord, it was nice but as a replacement for the 4Runner, definitely not big enough.

The most unexpected Valentine's gift - A complete Nikonos system because I love film.......It is in perfect condition, someone's baby that Sam found.

Now I need to learn to use a completely manual system.....
