Pam - yes I believe that Sue is going to try and get the same rotation as late seating. In fact on the 10 day we were not only able to get the same rotation but many of the same tables and servers. I think Sue is working with Stacey on getting those requests in but Sue wasn't going to send hers in until she got home.

A Pun for your Sunday;

On his way to work, a driver swerved to avoid a box that fell from a
truck. Seconds later, a policeman pulled him over for reckless driving.
But another officer had seen the carton in the road. The policemen
retrieved the box and found that it contained tacks. "Nonetheless," the
first trooper told the driver, "I have to write you a ticket." Amazed, the
driver asked why. The trooper replied, "Tacks evasion."

Good morning all!

Pam, congrats to your kids. I was a band "geek" in high school so I remember those solo & esemble festivals ... and all of the marching band practices ... and all of the spring concert practices.

Hope everyone has a great Sun. Bruce is out for an 8 mile run. We've already been to Mass. It's pretty overcast & wet here today so I think we'll be inside all day.

We were all drained...just got up a little bit ago. Mary's right (she always is! ;) ) Sue is doing the same thing that we're doing. We like a certain area in the dining room...to the left, against the windows. It gives us a little more space without having anyone behind us, and also keeps us from bothering quite so many people with our raucous behaviour! party:

This is a good idea of how our dinner nights should go:

1) Animator's ......casual....we'll see their "special show" only tonight
2) Parrot Cay.......casual....Castaway Cay...would be a good night for Palo
3) Lumiere's.........Formal
4) Animator's.......casual.....no "show"....good night for Palo
5) Parrot Cay.......Pirate night
6) Lumiere's.........Semi-formal.......Captain's Gala
7) Animator's........casual......another good night for Palo, but remember to hand out tips to your regular servers at one point tonight.
The "Tropical" night will either be combined with Pirate....you'd have a choice of casual, Pirate or Tropical. But we always do "Tropical" in Parrot Cay the first night we go.

Sue still has plenty of time to send in her list. The person I send it in to is out of the office until tomorrow anyway....but she already knew she'd be hearing from Sue.

Good Morning - back from Church - very distracted - and my turn to ask for prayers.

The family I grew up with needs hope. Oldest brother's blood pressure went way up and a vessel in his brain ruptured. That was Friday - yesterday presure out of control again. NOt much news last night - just about to call now.

So, prayers our way please.

Irene....so sorry to hear that! Prayers and Pixie Dust!!! :tink:

Thanks - he is the "older brother" I never had, or maybe I did.....toppled by log towers and everything...

Anyway, the call provides no new information - they cannot get his blood pressure under control - up and down--- more tests are ordered.....Still cannot move his right side or speak....I'm speaking with little brother, who does not translate med-speak very well....

well, I shall distract myself and see what you all have been u pto...

Sorry that's so big. I tried to go back and edit it three times and it won't let me. Probably would have to edit the size in Word, since I copied and pasted. Oh well.

Revise this list to suit your personal needs, of course.

If anyone has any good ideas to add.....toss them out here!!

WOW - I scanned this - must print it out and study it......Miss anything - are you kidding????? I think you provided us with the encyclopedia of packing.

Jim,

All of the talk of you with a carafe made me think of you the other day. I received a Disney Home catalog in the mail and there is a Mickey bedside carafe in there. I immediately thought of you. See what all you have done to each other's reputations?

Ang

New Year's Resolution was to toss all catalogues without reading into the recycling....Now I wish I had not done so...wonder if the carafe is on line?

Still not sure about the bring the wine, vs. the wine package.....
think, think, ponder.....

Thank you. Bella's funeral was yesterday. Lindsey and Mike went, and Linds said that her sister was just devastated. Inconsolable. She said it was really, really heartbreaking. Thank God, I can't (and don't want to) even imagine.
Yeah, it's been a miserable couple of weeks.

We'll be glad when tomorrow is over....Jay's mom's funeral.

We had one bit of good news today. Megan got a call from the insurance company....she's getting $7364.50 for her car. That will make a VERY nice downpayment on a new one. She's searching online tonight for good used cars vs a new one.
Guess I'll be practicing my "make the salesmen cry" routine. I imagine we'll be going to look at the cars on Tuesday.

Stacey - Funeral's are so hard.....I wish healing for your extended family to come soon and softly.

Last Saturday night we watched Wishes and enjoyed the fireworks to the beautiful music.

Today we did fireworks Daytona Beach style. We watch them go off over the Speedway to the sound of rrrrrr, squeek......, I need more beer, rrrrrrr, There has been a lead change.......

To some those sounds are more beautiful then Wishes.

I know how it is....last Saturday Night - we were dressed to the hilt for V/A, complete with wine pairings.

Lat night it was burgers, beer, the neighbors and a patio fire.

Both were fun, but talk about a lifestyle change.....

Let me see if this will work

The top half of the Vicotria and Albert's menu. this is Sam's copy as mine was "edited" to remove food allergy and red meat offerings. Plus, I requested all red wine pairings for my selections....

Actually, all that is missing off the desserts are:
Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee
Grand Marnier Souffle
*****
Celebes Coffee - Tea - and Friandise
******

Scott Hunnel, Chef de Cruisine
Erich Herbitschek, Pastry Chef
Israel Perez, Maitre D'Hotel
