Definately doing it through Disney. There are some things I'd feel comfortable doing on our own, but this isn't one of them.

She's right....we wouldn't do this one on our own, either.

What I was meaning about the kids at the "beach" at Tulum....they're still in a pretty remote and undeveloped area....different than Chankanaab or Atlantis or something like that.

You are very welcome! I love my PassPorter. I think I'll just download the new info. Please, let me know what you think.

Amanda...send the link! Who knows when I'll get back to WDW...I'd like to see EE.

We're home. What a long day. The services were nice, and it all went smoothly.

I'm glad you made it through the day. Welcome home! (that's not quite as nice as the "Welcome Home" from the Magic now is it?

What did you have to drink last night?

I have been known to have strange, bizarre dreams pretty often. That one actually made perfect sense to me... nothing will keep me from getting onboard on time... not even an unprepared husband

(and believe me, Mr. "Event Services Manager" himself would NEVER be unprepared for any trip, event, or otherwise... things will be planned out like clockwork!)

Congrats on the TOP Susan! Did you ever give your DD the DreamLife game? if so how did she like it?

Well we have finally made it home from the solo and ensemble event. It was an all day affair. Ashley played first in the 10 - 11 a.m. hour. When she finished, we went to grab a bite to eat so we could be back by 11:45 for Dale to warm up.

Ashley did great for her first time. She sounded wonderful. I was soooo mad though. Two moms were in the room with little kids (around 4) and they started acting up and crying and banging into the walls. It startled Ashley and she looked up and squeaked on two notes. Otherwise she was perfect. The judge told her she had the best sound she had heard so far, besides the squeaks. She got a 1 (1+ was the highest and there was only 1 of those from another group)

Dale's solo was next and he did well. I thought he sounded great, but he said he made a couple of mistakes. He got a 1. We had to wait quite a while for his accompaniest to get there. Then we had his wind choir from 2:30 - 3:30. By this time they were really running behind, so we didn't leave until 4. Anyway, wind choir was awesome. We left before their score came out. So, all in all, it was a great day.

Amanda,

She had to have blood taken for some tests the other day. She was so brave and just let them do it, so when we got home, I gave her the game. She's played with it a few times, but she and a friend spent an hour playing it this afternoon. I think it was a lot of fun for them. Thanks for getting it to us.

Last Saturday night we watched Wishes and enjoyed the fireworks to the beautiful music.

Today we did fireworks Daytona Beach style. We watch them go off over the Speedway to the sound of rrrrrr, squeek......, I need more beer, rrrrrrr, There has been a lead change.......

To some those sounds are more beautiful then Wishes.

Ray just walked in the door... he left at 6:20AM, and got home at 9:20PM, only to leave again at 6AM tomorrow. His first words out of his mouth were... did you watch the fireworks??? (Nope... sorry.. I'll tell him that Scuba did).

Way to go, Ashley and Dale!! I was picturing them onstage in my head.....wishing I could hear the music!!

:flower: Thank you. No..you're right, not quite the same. But that's okay....we'll be there pretty soon!

I finally found this guy :earseek: down with the Disney stuff. Maybe now I will memorize where all the new smilies are.

I'm heading for bed. Everyone have a beautiful Sunday morning!! :daisy: Maybe I'll sleep out here on the couch. We brought home two gorgeous bouquets, and it smells like roses in here. Mmmmm.

That sounds like our day. We left for the track at 5:20 am and got home at 9:20 pm and we watched the fireworks.

Well, may be our little lunch break of 10 am to 7 pm was a little different.

We don't understand how the people who pitch their tents right next to the track enjoy themselves since they can't sleep with all that noise going on for 24 hours.

Good morning cruisers!

Happy Sunday!

Stacey - glad to hear things went well at the memorial service. I bet you are all emotionally drained.

Jim - I think this question
We don't understand how the people who pitch their tents right next to the track enjoy themselves since they can't sleep with all that noise going on for 24 hours.

Can be answered by this
I need more beer

Thanks Stacey --

Good Morning All - Happy Sunday.

Need to get moving around to make it to church on time this morning. Then I get to come home and do some work that I need before I go to work tomorrow (ugh:guilty: ).

I still don't have anything from DCL on the cruise kit. It has been over a week since TA called them. I sure hope it comes this week (pretty please).

Have a great Sunday.

Stacey - I have a question for you. I think Sue is out of town cruising right now, but is she also requesting the same rotation as you did for the early dinner people? I think you requested the APL -- is that correct? Just curious what rotation we were trying to get. Trying to figure out what night to go to Palo's. We have done the brunch twice, but never the dinner in Palo's.
