Good Morning. We're home. We came home early this morning and got a call that Jay's mom passed away shortly after we had come home. Personally, I'm glad Jay wasn't there.
He's out walking/jogging right now.

YES! YES! YES! But that means that I'll be missing "Deparate Housewives" too. We don't have have a VCR or DVR ... GASP!!! Anyone know what the real night for "24" will be?

I haven't watched any desperate housewives ....GASP!!! but I have season 1 on DVD, just need to get DH to connect one of the DVD's that are in his closet in our room by the treadmill and then I will get walking and watch it.
24 is 2 hours tonight and 2 tomorrow, luckily DH had sooo much food catered for my 'surprise' party last night that I have dinner for tonight and tomorrow and a freezer full and luckily Indian freezes well!

yep! Our group that watches "Extreme Home Makeover" is having a 24 party tonight!!! yippee!!! Even better we're going to a house that has TIVO!!! No comercials!!! (We don't have DVR...)

Wanted to get get TIVO a couple of weeks ago and DH never seemed interested which amazed me as he is the one addicted to TV and hates the commercials, he is remote king and flips A LOT!!!

How was your "surpise" party?

It was fun, about 35 people with enough food for probably 60-70 (he ordered for 33) and we are going to be having it for a while but at least he ordered food we like, it was fun having everyone there and so much easier not having it at home with the mess. And of course I got spoilt.

DH also did all the laundry today which was better than any party!!! hahaha

Tonight the kids have church group so it is our date night. We had clam chowder and chili at a restaurant on the beach. Then Sharon and I walked the beach and watched the full moon rise.

Some time I will have to take a picture of the moon rising as it is really neat, but the best part is that it was free. I love living on the coast in Florida.

Okay, so we were wearing coats and sweatshirts because it was 60 degrees, but it still was really neat looking.

Cold with frost warnings this morning here in Florida.

HA HA HA! I just told Mike yesterday (on our very chilly ride from the port to Gma Lightbulb's) that I was going to get grief for all of the FL cold weather. It was cold when we got there on 1/6, cold on 1/7....then warmed up when we went to sea. Then it got cold when we got back 1/14 and 1/15 and is due to warm up now that we are gone!!

Coincidence???? Hmmmm.

I am DOG tired. We got to the airport Hyatt last night late--11:00 (by the time we left Gma's and returned the rental, etc) Then to bed by midnight and then Nick decided that for the FOURTH time in 3 years he was going to puke on vacation---every single time out of the blue with NO warning! This time while sound asleep in bed.....with me--at 4:30 inthe morning. Groan. So it was a very early morning, a slightly delayed flight, a play on the way home (which luckily Nick didn't puke during) and finally home and unpacked. Whew.

Will try to catch up on the thread as the week goes on and tell you some snippets from our cruise.
