I got confirmation from DCL, we are now linked for dining, early seating. I requested the APL rotation and the same tables/dining area as the late group. Please, if you make a change for dining LET ME KNOW!!! Since we are all linked any change will MOVE ALL OF US!!!!!

I can also send thru special dietary requests. For example DM is low sodium.

If anyone is interested in a Mayan Ruins tour in Costa Maya..you might want to check out this web site: http://www.chacchobenruins.com I found it by looking on the Cruise Critics site. Everyone RAVES about this tour there! I just booked it for my DD and myself today. They don't even require a deposit to book it. You have to pay in cash when you get there...but for only $43/pp it seems like a good deal!! They say it might take them a day or two to get back to you about confirming the ressie...but when I booked this morning..I had a confirmation back in less than 5 min. Maybe I was lucky and caught them while the were at the computer

He was going to buy it from us, but he has watched the kids when we cruised, he takes GREAT care of the shop when we're gone.....it's part of his bonus from us.
And the new Tv was sort of kind of free for us, anyway....otherwise I definitely could not afford to be quite so generous.

We found out a couple of months ago that our DD Kelly, (23) will be able to join us for this cruise She is going to college and we don't get to see her too often! Hi, Mike. We've booked with David and Ivan, also, but we are doing the Mayan Experience that includes the ruins tour and then lunch with a local family at the Mayan village. It took awhile to hear back from Ivan, and when I did he had us listed for Thurs., Dec. 29th! I e-mailed him back on Jan. 30th for a confirmation of the correct date and have not heard back. I guess I'll try to get a confirmation in the next couple of months. I imagine they are busy with all of the rave reviews they have been getting.

Pam - we did that tour back in '03 and liked it. The ruins are nice. Much smaller than Tulum but still very nice and rich with history. There is a beautiful drive by the coast and then over to the beach. Looked really nice but we were pretty sun-burnt from the Stingrays the day before so we stayed under cover and read our books.

I'd like to add- some of this tour also depends on your local guide. We happened to have a very well informed one who wove the tour into a story filled with all kinds of details of not just the ruins themselves, but the culture behind it. And he managed us at a decent pace thru the ruins, not to quick or slow.

Sorry I havn't been around much- that's likely to continue for the immediate future, work is very much taking over things right now.

There aren't too many things more fun than ridin' a Buckin' Weiner Dog!!

This made me laugh hysterically!!!! We had a weiner dog for 11 years... and when Ray was a kid, he had a weinerdog named "Coney" (as in Coney Island Hot Dog)... would have been perfect for Scoopie!!!!!

Scoopie was supposed to go to New Orleans with us for our annual convention. It has been moved to Dallas.... if he'd like to go there, someone can send him to me... not sure who's got him after Angie... and if he'd like to enjoy Bike Week in Daytona... he can catch that too, as long has he's here in time... let me know what his March travel plans are...

I must have hit them at just the right time as I got my confirmation and a reply to my e-mail accepting the confirmation all within an hour. I know the aren't always able to be on-line so hopefully he will get back to you soon! I just booked today at about 2 PM!
