Monica.....pork/tortillas went over alright. The adults loved them. The kids didn't care for the meat (they ate it separate from their tortilla/sour cream/cheese) We had them with whole wheat tortillas and reduced fat sour cream, so they turned out to be pretty healthy! Thanks for sharing the recipe...

Angie...Scoopie is on his way out tomorrow morning. We'll miss the little bugger here. Unfortunately we got pretty busy and couldn't show him around the city too much, but I hope he enjoyed his time here.

Speaking of...still need to get those last pictures posted. :)

Cool! A surprise TOP shared with Monica, Angie and Scoopie!

Yup. We didn't have the option of buying anything....he found out they were missing about 30 minutes before dinner! Guess we could have bought a $70 pair of "dockers" in the gift shop....NOT! By that time, we figured what the heck...

he was more comfortable than the rest of us. Next time, I might just "forget" my pants!! :lmao:

:earseek: :earseek: :earseek: KODAK MOMENT!

We had a chance to sit and talk "excursions" tonight. We went to dinner with Amber and her mom. We're all in agreement on everything, so now I can get excited about making the reservations ON SATURDAY!! :woohoo: :woohoo: After that, I'll just have to celebrate each "milestone" mark when we finally get everyone here booked!!!!

I was going to post this earlier, but we left for a bit, and then the Boards were down...but....I was looking around Shore Trips today. We had booked our snorkel trip in Cozumel with them last December. Their website says that the dolphins will be available for booking beginning in May. They just don't say WHEN in May. Bu we go in late May..so I would think that means the dolphins will be ready for people!!

Oh my you're kidding me! Shoretrips is where I looked before and it said June- so that means it's changed to May and that is super great news!!!!

Samsung DLP HDTV....56" ...model #HL-R5667W
It has all this stuff...half of which I do not know what it is.

Anynet
DNet
DLP
DCR
SRS
DNle
and a built in TV Guide...just like the TV Guide magazine.

I may never figure it all out, but my TV guy said that if I decide to get TiVo he'd teach me how to use it.

Nice. I have the Samsung DLP HDTV 60"and love it. I agree there are so many features now that I will never use. We just turn it on and enjoy.

Well, I am not that tiny, esp. since we talked about whether Lisa wore a small or a large T-Shirt. But that is the size that I wear in WDW T-Shirts which are 100 % cotton since I like to wear shirts outside and not inside my jeans. It avoids having inches of shirt to wrap in a knot. Of course, in a Ladies Junior, I am up to a Large. (now this is fun, plastering my shirt sizes all over the boards). Reminds me of my dive instructor asking me about my "hem, hem" size to fit me for a BC. :rotfl2:

Ahh, a lady after my own heart. Our present set is too big for me, we upgraded to a flat screen 24, I think. I might be a mammoth 27.....

The small 13 inch gets a better picture, of course, we are still using rabbit ears. :rotfl: Now that we have the roof, we may consider an new outide antenna. But why rush, the Olympics are on NBC and since the storm took out all the vegetation, you can see the broadcast tower from our home. Strong signal, well, yes.....

Good morning cruisers!

oh, well, big compared to ours!

busy day today. school must be fit in. plus cleaning b/c my parents are on their way down. they want to take the kids to the new curious george movie tomorrow. it worked out perfectly b/c Mike has some of his follow up appointments tomorrow....so they will watch the kids. then i must exercise at some point (unless the housework is vigorous enough!) ;) And all this before 1:30...when I leave for piano lessons. parents will be here when i get home, so they say.

so off to start the day....

won't be able to DIS much today....

this may be my only TOP!

**tried to post this last night and it wouldn't work- AFTER the maintenance!*
Has anyone ever done the dolphin discovery excursion thru DCL?
Shoretrips is probably better BUT it only includes ages 8 and up... my youngest will only be 5 (almost 6) when at Cozumel. So I was thinking of just doing it thru DCL if it is indeed opened up for availability by the time we cruise (and hoping they'll let people book it in CASE it can be done by then??)

Also curious if DCL's price includes admission into the national park (shoretrips mentions their price does not include $12 pp entrance fee). Also when you book an excursion with DCL- does it include transportation or are you still on your own for that?

Stacey- what excursions are y'all wanting to do? Especially on Costa Maya since I can't figure out anything to do there? Just curious- not like we're going to try to invite ourselves WITH you. LOL Just curious what looked good to you guys. :)

Good morning all! Another day closer to the weekend.

Irene, safe travels to you & Sam. Wish it was under better circumstances.

Garry, prayers & pixie dust to you.

OHMinnie, we'll be looking out for Scoopie. He'll have a fun time in Louisiana with us.

Update on boys & their toys. I think I guilted Bruce in to not getting what HE wanted in a DVD player. He was sold on a $350 Panasonic 9" portable player. It was nice but did we REALLY need that one. If he still worked for them I would have let him because their employee discount was soooo good. So, last night he said, "I know you don't want to spend that much $ so we'll just get the one from Wal-mart that was $200." Seeing as we only use the player in the car on long trips (Louisiana, drive to FL in May for the cruise, etc.), I didn't see any point in spending big bucks. I refuse to have a player in our vehicle on a day-to-day basis.

Hey guys - I thought it would be fun to do a virtual stateroom tour. So I started a thread for it on the main cruise forum. If you have a room to add it would be greatly appreciated. I think this could be a fun thread and if we can get all the room categories we can add it to the FAQ to help future cruise planners.

I have the baby sister, the 42" Samsung DLP HDTV. It was great to watch my Steelers on last Sunday. We were going to get the 60", but my room is not big enough.

Stacey - GIRL...you have everything!!! Gave away a 65"...must be nice..:thumbsup2
