Well, I guess you liked it! My scuba diving DH is not so sure about this trip, but getting to dive in Cozumel makes up for a lot. The teen scuba dives, but she's all for a DCL cruise, doesn't matter where it's going!

True enough. If diving was offered, or even "supported" (ie air tank fills, weights) I would more more enthusiastic!! Gotta agree with the kid, it's still OK!!

Thinking more about this: Drinking fruity drinks and sitting around with our DIS friends over on the adult beach......... Priceless!!

DH and I are quite happy to stay on the ship besides CC, we have been to Cozumel and Costa Maya, kids will probably want to shop and get off so we will have to see.

After seeing the cost of excursions for Alaska we may have to just save it for that haha.

Well guys, this is my first post from my NEW Dell Inspiron 6000. I am loving life right now. This is sooo cool. Wireless internet here I am. I am downstairs in my kitchen and not upstairs(where I can't see anyone or anything going on). The screen is sooo big. My DH says he hears that a lot. lol

Anyway, I gotta finish dinner. Talk to you later.

I know what you mean! They get a little heavy handed over there sometimes!

Some of the areas we travel during these cruises are so poor that it's almost depressing. We can't change the world overnight and the process of visiting and spend money in the area DOES help. But, I can't justify spending money on something I don't want or need.

My friend the TA has been having fits with DCL and their accounting department. I had a cruise from last year that we had to cancel, and I wanted the money from that to be put onto a new cruise, and instead DCL divided some of it between two cruises and refunded me the rest...and they've done that with several of their other clients. It makes it hard as heck for me to keep track of, and even harder for the TA's who have several clients. I hope their plan simplifies things for everyone.

Yeesh, how messy. I too hope this change make it simpler.

I still pay all of our bills by check, and I am one of the few anymore who still gets all of my checks back with my bank statement. Can't tell you how many times it has made my life simpler to be able to pull a check out, right that very minute and say "Yes, I DID pay this bill".

A T.O.P. with MARK and MONEY....that's gotta be a good sign, no??

We get photocopy pages of the cancelled checks and can get the originals on request. Exactly why we still do checks; hard paper evidence that says we paid this bill and is indisputable. a printed receipt of an online transaction could be forged. Way cool I got you a top.

You should have seen the post BEFORE I edited, the whole thing was pink! And that pic of the other outside stair just screams OVERBOARD! to me.

Getting back on the ship:

YEESH! I'm tall and hate banging my head on low hanging things, but really. Between what I've read about CM and Coz, I'm fully prepared to do not much other then stop for tourist trap stuff in the armed mall at CM, don't think I'll even get off at Coz.

I'm just speechless....There are some things in life you just take for granted....Virgil having a GPS was one of them.

So am I!!! Must be because Apple doesn't make one yet..

As far as Fat Tuesday, it says that it's a New Orleans original. But, I can't think of a single one IN New Orleans. I do remember going to one around Destin one time. I just went to their website. They are called Daquiris in New Orleans but am pretty sure they don't serve food (or maybe it's just that we were there for drinkin' & not for eatin').Ang

In wandering NO while there for a trade show, there was one over in the Mardi Gras district with all the other restaruants and bars and such. And before you go thinkng, went in that area for lunch and a great cajun lunch it was too.

Find the instructions for both, you want this on or anyone within range can pick up your internet access from either device.

The t-shirt design looks good... but can I make a suggestion? I think it would look better if the same font was used throughout... the one on the top of the outside circle (you know- the one about us being blabbermouths...) looks terrific- I think it would be good if that font could be used on the entire circle, and on the ports on the scoops. Just my 2 cents... I spend a lot of time proofing graphic designs every day... so if I'm being too picky, just tell me so, and I'll shut up.


I think I hear the beach and some frosty drinks calling my name... I have absolutely NO excursion plans, and don't plan on making any (though I WILL snorkel SOMEWHERE)... so count me in on the drinks by the adult pool, adult beach, or anywhere in between!

Sounds like one of those folks that lecture people about poisoning the environment and using up natural resources from inside their overly large air conditioned homes, manicured and cared for by under paid help!

WEP stands for Wired Equivalent Privacy. It would be set up on the wireless router - it's a form of security so that only you can use your wirelss connection. Even better than WEP is WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access) it's more secure. It would be an option on your wireless router - what kind of router are you using?
