The first show started 15 minutes ago, hope you've already got it on.

Oh no. I am far too stupid. I forgot the time difference in the TV Guide. They listed it as starting at 8:00, which I thought would be OUR 7:00....we missed the whole first one.

To outright spoil it, there's one scene where the penguins carrying their egg manage to not be able to carry it and it freezes, so you see a few frozen eggs. The same happens again with the young during a real bad blizzard a few do get separated and freeze. And the third and last time a bird of some kind comes in to snag a young one.

It's life for the animals, but there are so many good scenes of how much effort they put into coming together and raising a chick, it is a very moving film and I highly recommend it.

Man, cruddy year for the penguins. They need a Disney cruise!!!

Yes,...it is a good movie to show the hard facts of penguin life. With everything that CAN go wrong it's amazing so many live. I thought it was really sad that if one of the parents didn't return from their feeding trip the baby died.

I thought the "penguin-napping" scene was interesting! Who knew that penguins, so torn up with grief, would steal another baby!!?!?!?!?

Certainly! I wish everyone would write letters like these. Better yet, write one like this, send it....that person reads it and FORWARDS it to the next!

The nice thing about this group is that we don't need some cheesy letter once a year to keep in touch. We know minute by minute what is going on with each other!!! Both the ups and the downs (ha! the first time I wrote "downs" I actually wrote "dogs"....yes, for me, it's the ups and the dogs! was that a subliminal or WHAT?)

I've never been TO Atlanta....only been THROUGH Atlanta, and I agree with most everything on the email!! Did you know also, that it ALWAYS pours rain and is night when we drive through Atlanta? Always!

Funny story....once we stopped at a Longhorn in Georgia on a trip to Disney (I want to say Valdosta).....Mike ordered "Regular Tea" and this waitress with a thick southern drawl said "Honey, in the south sweet tea IS regular tea."
