No, no. no... the infamous Christmas party is the FOLLOWING Saturday night (Dec 10)... (which I think you said you'd be off diving somewhere???)

If JB's is too far for Maria, no biggie... maybe we can work something else out.

I really don't care WHERE we meet, just that we meet. Our timeshare is actually 1mi from Sea World. So we are North(?) of WDW, right? We still have some time, and you guys have to figure out the parade schedule. Where is the parade? Do they still have boat parades on the intercoastal? I rememeber when I lived down there (89-90) my parents and I went to see an awesome boat parade. I think it was in Palm Beach County, though. That was the best thing about Christmas in Florida, coming from the NE.

Hi all! We (me, DH, DS 10, & DS 6) are thinking about taking this cruise with you guys. We just took the 7 night Eastern in Jan. 05 and were not planning on another cruise anytime soon. But, my cousin and her family (cousin, her DH, DS4 & DS3) really want to go on this cruise and want us to go along. I only wish she would have decided this a while ago, as the rates are up there now. We'll see. It looks like many DISers are taking this one, it sure would be fun. Is there a list of everyone going?

Wow, this is a quiet group today. I surely thought we would be over 19,000 by the end of this weekend. We have had a pretty quiet weekend. Yesterday we cleaned house and moved furniture some and today we went to church, took a nap and then to grocery store. It is so nice to have a quiet weekend for a change.Have a good week everyone

Okay...I have a spa appointment at 3:30 tomorrow...so, before I got to the spa..I'll see if I can break into the wedding chapel. Not that I could find it!!
Oh, no.....tomorrow is Monday, so you'll be at work and won't be able to see me. Nuts.

Okay...where to begin. First of all I have to say for definite sure...this is absolutely NO FUN AT ALL without my DIS friends. I'm 100% serious. We have met one couple that we have a lot in common with and are fun. But other than my host from the Mirage, no one is friendly.
First, I will get my one and only complaint out of the way. This ship is sooooo hard to navigate! You can't go up any one particular elevator and end up where you need to go. Some elevators only go to certain floors, you have to go through some restaurants to get to other areas...it is soooooo screwy!
But....it is very beautiful. And I still haven't seen half of it. 18 Floors! Whoa!
So, I survived the long plane flight by sleeping the whole entire way.
Their port terminal is very "industrial"....not at all pretty like DCL.
On the good side, we couldn't be treated any better. Apparently, large groups like the Mirage have a TON of clout. I couldn't even begin to use all the "freebies" we've been offered.
They have a cocktail party every night for us....and anything we order for the room is free. The room, by the way, is about the size of any standard hotel room, but perfect for Jay and I. Lots of electrical outlets. (Hey...that's important!) The food is very good...but no Banfi. Luckily, they know how to make a good champagne cocktail...and I haven't had to pay for one yet.
We get free drinks everywhere. We're told we will have a private area at Princess Cays.....
Tonight is formal night. We were dressed early since we had a cocktail party to go to...but I ditched to come here!! Jay & I did do a portrait, though. I didn't buy our embarkation photo....neither of us looked good after no sleep and that much travel!
Sorry I'm rambling....I just found the Internet Cafe just now...and it feels like I have so much to say......
So far, I have only bought one thing....a Princess t-shirt. Had to. I have them holding me some Swarovski....and a charm.
Jay and I went to the art auction today. I bought one item......and DIsney Cel....Pinnochio and Jiminy Cricket. I may end up getting the one they have of Capt Hook and Peter Pan too. But I won two drawings at the auction, so I got two matching prints....ocean type scenes. Guess I'll put them in the guest house.
Anyway...now that I have written a book....I should head to dinner. They have private tables set aside (prime locations) for the Mirage people (I'm feeling kind of sorry for the others on the cruise, really) at dinner some nights, and others we can go as a couple wherever we want.
Rainy and cloudy today, but still warm and humid. The ship is rocking pretty nicely...just enough to remind me that I am at sea! I love it!!
It's funny to sit at a stool in the casino and rock! I played a little last night...didn't lose, but didn't win anything much...won't be going back. I'd rather be here!
I'll check in, either after dinner or tomorrow.

Just here to tell you (then I will unsubscribe) that we here on the Nov. 12 Eastern coming up are pretty worried about Chip&Dale&Fun.....like you guys, we have not heard from them since Hurricane Wilma slammed West Palm Beach where they live! They should have power by now but possibly no internet(cable) ....but I sure hope they didn't get flattened!
.....We hope to see them on our cruise in less than 10 days!

She speaks highly of you guys and wow! she's always said how chatty you all are! How many posts/pages? JEEZ!
