Isn't it about time for a ... TOP

Yep, thought so...

(Can you tell I've got no motivation to work today??)

Hey, OM. I checked out your Netflix page, pretty cool! Now wondering what mine looks like. I've got one for you, but I'll just tell you what it is. It's called "Spellbound", it's a documentary about spelling bees, and it's great. Another one coming out soon is "Mad Hot Ballroom", about a bunch of fifth graders learning ballroom dance in NYC. We loved both of those.

Should warn you, though, your kids will want to take ballroom dance lessons after you watch it.

Hey, even I want one of those Ipods. And I'm really not the type to go around with earphones on my head. I don't even usually listen to the radio in the car, unless Alicia is along. But downloading Desperate Housewives? That I could go for!

A question for the medical professionals about my nephew. He got a whopper of a migraine night before last, so bad that they actually took him back to the emergency room. I know that's to be expected after a head injury, but would knowing the common migraine triggers, and avoiding them for a while, help him? He ate a huge portion of smoked barbecue right before this happened, don't even know if that's a trigger.

I'm not a doctor, but I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Actually, though... smoked BBQ often gives me a migraine... if they use liquid smoke (which in some cases is loaded with MSG), it will definitely trigger one in me... just a thought.

That was the first thing I thought of when I opened the paper this morning :rotfl: . I'm surprised the headline didn't read "Virgil already has one, why don't you???"

Hmmm... something my wife might say.... I get NO respect from her either....

But no - I don't.... I like the iPod I have.... at least for now.....

But - Jim - pretty cool, especially the video....

Glad you feel postive about the tests. Sharon thinks I have should have echo done so she could see a picture of my heart. She doesn't think I have one. :rotfl:

Tell Sharon "Great minds think alike"....I was telling Jared that now we will know for sure. Thought maybe he was the Grinch!!

ROFLOL! You guys really did a great job of giving me my morning chuckles!!

Way to go, Virgil pirate: stealing a T.O.P. from poor unsuspecting Jared and OM!!

Diana, Jay's cousin was here one time, and I made BBQ...using Liquid Smoke...he got instantly deathly ill. Okay, not deathly, but he did up-chuck a lot. That's when I quit cooking, when I poisoned the cousin!!

My best laugh was "I opened the paper.....thought it would say, Virgil has one"..... :rotfl2:

Geez....my sides hurt!!

Guess I have to take the growing boy to buy new pants for fall. There goes one shore excursion, five Konk Koolers and a bottle or two of Banfi......

Jay is trying to talk us into going to the cabin with him tomorrow and Saturday. Jordan cheers tonight, and they don't have school, so I just might do it. A little peace and quiet would be good. And besides, there's always the TREO! ;)

Oh...forgot.....Jared sees the cardiologist for the low-down on Oct 26. Just one more appointment that week....another reason I need to pack early. We leave on the 28th.
I made his appointment not knowing that they are doing the AIMS testing at school that week. Oh well. At least those tests don't actually count for anything....not in his grade, anyway.

Cool. Will check them out. They may sit in my queue for awhile with all of the 24's I have to catch up on!! :)

I couldn't believe you've rated over 2500 movies!!!

Nuh-uh. Tell him "floods are in." ;)

gotta post again and make this an "all girls" page.....

I just sat here one night and clicked until I couldn't click anymore. I think I got meaner as it got later. Yeah, I've seen a LOT of movies!

Stacey, glad you've got the Treo if you're going to the cabin. You wouldn't want to miss anything!

Haven't heard anything about the dinner last night. Kevin is in conferences all day, so I don't call him. Where's Sue?

oops...unless you count Virgil's post.

Nah, after that vicious TOP stealing, I don't think I'll count his!

PAGE 1209--ALL GIRLS PAGE!!!!

and an unexpected TOP for me!!

Thanks for the set up, Diana!

Yeah, me too, it's just that my memory is bad and I can't remember seeing them....or if they were good or not!!! :)

They changed their ratings too...
Now it's:
loved it
really liked it
liked it
didn't like it
hated it

it USED to be:
loved it
liked it
it was "ok"
didn't like it
hated it.

There are movies out there that are "just ok" for me, man. Which used to be a 3 star,...but I hesitate giving them 3 stars now b/c I don't want ppl to think I "liked it"....when it was really "just ok" ;)

A TREO and an iPod that can download TV shows.....

THAT is roughing it!!! :rotfl2:

See now, if you'd move to Florida, where it's WARM, pants wouldn't take up so much of your vacation budget... Christopher hasn't worn pants (LONG pants, that is) since at LEAST March, and won't for at least another month or two, if at all. You'd be surprised that it takes relatively few pairs of jeans when you only need to get a kid through 3 months a year.

Hey, I thought Jared wore shorts year round anyway? Or maybe the pants are for the cruise? Better wait until December, he might grow more.
