Mary, I hope you get out before the snow hits & starts messing up flights! Hope you & Mark have a great time.

The temps will be dropping here in GA. Rain is predicted for this afternoon. That will be no fun when mixed with mid-30 degree temps. Sleet is predicted for northeast GA. I hope the weathermen are right & none dips down to us!

Got all of my Christmas cards out in the mail yesterday.

The above comment just struck me funny...

When I was in college, (back in the dark ages, before these shows were all on video, and on 100 times a season on every network), the night that Rudolph was on TV was always an interesting night... we would do shots with Rudolph every time his nose lit up. Worked the same for Grinch, everytime someone mentioned the word "whoooo". Good thing those weren't both on the same night! Who says animated Christmas specials are just for kids???

Didn't Tony have major surgery about 15 hours ago...hello???? His pain and side effects lasted all of what - one hour???

Speaking of side effects...Didn't realize kicking a drug habit would be so
easy...that took all of 2 hours...

Ranting over for now...

Those are two of my biggest gripes with the series. Add to that Tony's actual surgery....where he was under general anesthesia having surgery on his NECK and only had an oxygen mask!! HELLO!!! Shouldn't he be intubated and be hooked to a ventilator??
The drug habit kicking got me too. At first he'd have withdrawl symptoms every 20 minutes or so and then suddenly about, what?, 4 hours into it there is no sign he was ever a junkie?
Makes me have little sympathy for gunshot victims or junkies (kidding!)

Ah, that story is really sad. The wife was chasing after him, saying that he was off his meds. Probably lost it or something during their mission trip to Peru. They were married 22 years. I'd be very surprised if anything else develops from this story.

I think we've got you all beat, it's 11 F here right now. There's an estate sale I'd like to go to this morning, but I don't think I will be waiting outside.

Yup...beat us. This morning when I got up it was 12 degrees, but with the windchill it was 3. I don't know how that felt b/c I'm refusing to leave my house until I absolutely HAVE to!
