Good evening everyone,

Well, the clock is ticking and we are all packed and ready to go. Hope it's warm in Florida cause it sure is cold here in NY. The wind is crazy. In fact, we heard thunder a little while ago. What the hey??!!! My little guy, Anthony, is sick. He was home from school for the past 2 days. Plus next week. Hope the teacher isn't too mad. He's all stuffy and blowing his nose all the time. Got a stronger decongestant from the doctor today. Prescription strength. Hope it works. Nothing a little Florida sunshine can't cure.

Anyway, I won't be able to post this next week. Unless they have use of a computer at the timeshare. I doubt it though. Don't have too much fun without me. Although, we'll be having some of our own.

Hope to be able to meet up with KikiKaren, Jim and Sharon during our stay. Keeping our fingers crossed. I know, it's a crazy time of year for everyone.

Hope everyone has a great week and I'll catch up with you next Saturday. Now they're saying that NY is going to be getting snow next Friday. Guess what....I'll stay an extra day, no problem. I hate flying into NY when it snows. Thank goodness we are flying into Kennedy and not LaGuardia (it has one of the shortest runways).

It's getting warmer again... pretty 'chilly' right now (it's only 46 at the minute... but my pool is 82...), but tomorrow's high is 76, and Sunday's is 78. Perfect winter weather, if you ask me!!!

Right now it's bitter cold with nary a snowflake in the sky. I think, IMHO, that if it's going to be cold, it should snow.

I think I'll just let it warm up before heading out this morning. Matt has his final testing for his 2nd degree black belt this morning. All will go well with that. Just one more reason why I fear my children!

As far as weather ... the weathermen here are saying the 'S' word (snow) for the end of next week for us too! I hope not because that means that schools shut down. And thanks to our wonderful governor, we don't have any snow days left. If it's going to snow, I hope it's on a weekend or while the kids are out for Christmas break!

I'll be doing some online shopping today. I just don't feel like going out toy shopping this year so I'll be paying for shipping & doing it all online.

Bruce said something about going get a small Christmas tree this weekend. Emily asked if we could make a gingerbread house. I saw a kit at Wal-mart so I think we'll get one of those. Maybe we'll have some Christmas spirit around here after all. I guess having kids has forced Bruce in to getting in to the spirit.

Richard was a qualified meteorologist. He had always received high
marks in school, so he quickly landed his first job at a local
television station. But despite his years of training, he had bad luck
predicting the weather.

He became the subject of public ridicule when a competing television
station pointed out that his weather predictions had been wrong for all
but 20 days in the previous year. The station manager, embarrassed by
the ridicule, fired Richard.

Richard decided to move far away, where no one would know of his past.
He landed an interview at another television station, and it seemed to
go well. Then the interviewer asked the one question Richard most
feared: "Why did you leave your last job."

Fortunately, Richard was a quick thinker and replied, "The weather

Two years ago I bought Emily a Princess Aurora dance box from The Disney Store. Now Ashley wants her own. Of course, TDS no longer sells them. So, I'm looking for some other "girlie" box or bag for her.
