KT with Mike's sister Ashley (who, personality wise, is as close to KT as it comes!)

The pictures are great! KT looks beautiful!!! She just may have upstaged the bride! Glad you had a good time!

Back in town again and feeling fine!! The remodeling conference was fun and informative as always. Next year it's in Chicago!!

Sorry to have missed so much "interesting" posts!!! I just LOVE pantRys!! :rotfl:

I celebrated the return to town by picking up the DD! It was nice, a big hug for my troubles!! Can't beat that!

Dinner with Sue and her family was a hoot! I absolutely LOVED Obrycki's in Baltimore! We even went back and had dinner there again Friday night!! MMMmmmm, Crab Cakes!

KT even looks like her aunt! Both are beautiful. Thanks for the pictures, Gunka.

Kevin is home, guess he has nothing to say. Maybe he spent the morning shopping for scuba equipment on-line. Off to breakfast now, Sunday morning means Huevos Rancheros. With green chile.

So last night, while watching our latest 24 DVD, he says "I want that new Ipod", and I said "I want that new Ipod too". So in a situation like this, do we both buy each other one for Christmas? Although I could hold out until they make one that is also phone, internet, etc. etc.

Kevin - cool! Let us know when you are coming to town next year!

But make sure to give us some lead time so we can make some time! :)

Btw; we bought this a short time ago, been wanting something to share pics with and this does that and much more, caught it when I was there picking up a part for one of the desktop pc's.

You bet! The show is usually this same basic time every year. October 18 - 21, 2006 at McCormick Place

I actually have looked at the Archos for awhile now. But, you gotta love the Ipods size and capacity! Pretty impressive!
BTW, how does the Archos work out for you?

The 2006 S.S. Member cruise sails Sunday the 22nd, and we're going to plan 3 days to head down. So.. 18th it is I guess. :)

Sofar, it has been very impressive. Have only had it for about an hour as of yet. It is all folder navigation based. 3x2¼ viewing screen is very clear, easy to see good detail of the pictures, has a zoom function for looking close, and once you open a picture the thumbpad allows direct flipping thru.

As far as size, it's not that big, about the size of a pocket pc or palm.

It is also a fully functional dvr with a remote, programs in the same exact way as a vcr, something else I've been looking for, and am looking forward to hooking it up and exploring that option.

It also can play mpeg-4 files, so I should be able to encode dvd's into it for travel watching of movies as well.

The only thing that is a small tradeoff is it has a 12 hour rated battery(upside), which adds a bit of weight(downside) to the unit, but that's negligable to me.

Don't ya just love new toys?? Have fun with that, Mark!! (And you, too, Mary)

Ohminnie....KT looked sooooo pretty! And I think she looks like Mike's sister, too. If that's what KT is going to look like when she's all grown up, Mike better buy a shotgun!

So....same old thing here...doing laundry. But a bit worse than usual. Pine needles, pine tar, and lots of dirt! Eewwww.

Heading back to the dungeon.

Happy Sunday!

Quiet night on the thread last night. Everyone must either be at WDW enjoying F&W or else otherwise enjoying a beautiful Fall evening. Oh - or at a wedding they didn't want to be at. :)

Or trying to hack back the jungle - aka "garden" that grew out of control with the summer :umbrella: and could not be tended due to need for Scuba :wizard: and Food and Wine :drinking1 .

I must report it is garden = 2 humans = 0. :p
