Touching story - My co-workers son just had a boy join his class - an evacuee from N.O. Needless to say, the child had nothing - not even the "required uniform". The school is donating the uniform, and I am not sure of how the family ended up in Ft. Myers...

Anyone the boy (about 8) says, Leaf has no toys at all, can we give him some...The toy box was rifled and a box of toys was taken to school....I be the boy has lots today, because I expect my friend's child was not the only one...

And he thought of it, all by himself!!!!

Angie -- Hope you are feeling better as well. I get bronchitas and upper respiratory infections all the time. A couple of times it has turned into pnemonia, so please take care of yourself. It is no fun when Mom is sick, because she doesn't get to rest.

Hey, Mary! Did they show a movie on your bus? We tried to watch part of Mary Poppins when we took the ME bus in August. But there was this huge guy in the front row, sitting right in the middle. He was sitting slightly forward because he was on his cel phone the whole time. So all we could see of the movie was his head.

Good Morning Cruisers --- The latest track of the storm takes it in a loop-d-loop and maybe toward GA....Stay safe everyone....let's try to blow this one out to see --- at 00 am - everyone on the east coast - take a deep breathe and puff.....(Hey it might work ).

Glad that Jared is better - so if the cat (Pano Mele). His fever is down and he has stopped moping. I just love getting up at 5:00am to give him pills and wash wounds (yech). Tomorrow I hand over my paycheck to the vet - both cats are going in...oh joy.....Wait - that Scuba's line.

Hipe the weather is better for the kids. We are dry here but still high seas. Not sure if I will get checked out in the ocean or the pool.....I am betting the pool....that's ok, as long as I take the plunge.

I missed Ava Catherine's middle name last night --- Catherine is my confirmation name, so I will remind her guardian angel to protect the precious one.

Good Morning All - Glad to have you back Amanda! Today is moving day for my neighbor, sniff. They are moving to Myrtle Beach, SC. Closing is at 10am and then they are gone. He restores cars as a hobby so I have a camaro and porsche in my driveway until their house is finished. Good thing I had the driveway repaired and enlarged.

I've been through it with 2 girls. The first one remained mostly human. The second one became an alien life-form around the age of 11 and didn't change back until...wait...I think the transition is still going on and she'll be 25 this year. Having a boy has got to be better during the teen years, right? We're taking birthday treats to school this morning for his 11th on Sunday.
