Hey Karen,

In the battle of the Sox last night, what happened????

As a true blue Cubs fan can't even bring myself to root for the White Sox, even though it's a Chicago team, blah, blah, blah -

24?? 24?? We finished another disc....back to Netflix... :)

If anyone starts season 3 before me - no discussion please...I'm waiting for it at the library....

Starting Murphy Brown on Netflix...

Just thinking of ideas for the bag ... does anyone know if they sell embroidered iron-ons through DCL? It seems like I bought a Mickey one YEARS ago from one of the parks. That may be an inexpensive way to add a touch of Mickey to our bags.

Agreed! It is a nice, relaxing place.

There is an idea!! I know that Cozumel has some great snorkeling locations. Don't know much about Costa Maya, except what I've read on the reports and sites around the area.

If there is some interest, it could be done!!

If we could get a group together for snorkeling - we'd be interested...After all, we've got the experts to help with research!!!

Welcome Mike and Lisa! I mostly read the posts, but pop in once in a while to post something meaningless.

I do have a CC question. We were thinking of parasailing. Who has done this and is it worth it? Do you take off/land in the water? (DH doesn't swim). Is the boat ride rough waiting for the group to take their turns? (I got seasick on the glass bottom boat).:confused3

The 3 of us did this... Frances wasn't that keen on it - at first - she was scared of heights also, but she absolutely loved it.... Highly recommend doing it - but agree do it early in case it gets cancelled....

Hey, I'm right there with ya - the White Sox are just as bad of a word as the CARDNALS to a Cubs fan...

I mean, honestly, what was the big stink? So the ppl had their kids in cages. They ended up getting arrested and the kids were "rescued." From the pictures in the paper, the kids looked perfectly content in their cage. Kinda like they made it into a little "den."

Here's the photo that ran on the front page of the Dispatch:

Hey... Those kids look familiar.... No wonder you keep them small..... :rotfl:
I mean - hey - they were safe that way... RIGHT?

We've not been impressed with the snorkeling at CC. I'm going to give it the old college try, and go for the Seahorse Snorkel this time....since we have two days there, I can do that, and sit on the beach and do nothing! ::yes::

Been trying to study up on Costa Maya. There is some great diving, by boat...and supposedly some good snorkeling from shore. Some have said that if we go in to Mahajual (sp?) we can plant ourselves on the beach there, and swim out just a little ways to a nice reef for snorkeling...and it's free! Others have said that the snorkeling isn't that great, but they don't mention swimming out to the reef.
The other alternative is to take a boat out to the reef to snorkel. I'm sure DCL will offer this as an excursion, but it can also be done (cheaper) right at the port. It sounds like the area is small enough that there wouldn't be any worry about missing the ship.

I've read that at the private beaches there are people with boats. After you're tired of relaxing, you can pay these guys and they will take you out a ways to the reef. Better than swimming out, imho.

It does look interesting, and it's not much larger than the phone I have now.... :rolleyes1

I'd love to see how you justify that one at the office! But the real question is, will it work on the ship?
