If we could get a group together for snorkeling - we'd be interested...After all, we've got the experts to help with research!!!

Except the experts will be off diving somewhere else at the time. So where are we talking about doing this, I'm confused? I'd vote for Cozumel! Hanging out at the beach in Costa Maya, with the margaritas and lobster lunches sounds really nice.

I know that most of you Floridians are on the East coast, but I got an e-mail from the Florida Groves Winery in St. Petersburg, and it sounds like fun. We would be there if we could! Here it is:

It's baaaaack!!!

Hello everyone.......

You folks are real chatty here.

Will you all break the "first 10 day ever Christmas cruise" record??????

Hope all is well with everyone...... I still look forward to one day going on another DCL trip.

Maybe after you guys return home from this cruise, we'll consider the next group cruise. Any thoughts on which one that will be?

Quick update:

Our family is doing great.

Sandy and I are still working of course..... me hardly working ( only 7 days a month ) I'll have to look for a part-time job soon, but maybe NOT.

Erik and Jessica are loving school. Erik started Boy Scouts this year and is playing soccer, which he enjoys very much.

Jessica still loves to sing and act.
She auditioned and was accepted into a new school ( E Arts ), which focuses on music, singing, theatre and the regular subjects as well.

She just recently was accepted into a High School production ( The sound of music )
There is no slowing her down now........Perhaps they will remember her when she gets old enough to audition for that school.

Hope you all have a great "double scoop" trip.

Just wanted to finally say Hi.

I will check in every once in a while.

Hey, Gus!!

Glad you checked in!!! Family sounds like it's doing WONDERFULLY!! That's good to hear. Wow....I think someday we're going to see Jessica on the big stage (or screen) WTG!!!

Of course we're really chatty here. Did you expect anything less??

I've read that at the private beaches there are people with boats. After you're tired of relaxing, you can pay these guys and they will take you out a ways to the reef. Better than swimming out, imho.

But the question is, do they take off and leave you to swim back to shore????:rotfl2: Don't know how much I trust some of those guys!

I'd love to see how you justify that one at the office! But the real question is, will it work on the ship?

Nope...still won't work on the ship, unless you take the lap top and connect to it with bluetooth or WiFi or whatever. The good news is that the service areas are growing every day. It does get service in Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands! So I figure I'm getting warmer!!
Lucky for me, my boss had just told me that I could "DIS" at work, if that meant I'd be there to answer the phone more. So he thinks my new toy is pretty cool. And he's relieved that there's no pressure on him to buy me something.

I definitely think we could take over one of the seahorse snorkel boats at CC. What fun!!

In Costa Maya, it doesn't sound like it's that far to swim out to the reef. I think we could do that, Diana. (trust me, she says, with an evil glint in her eye!)
That way, we'd have the best of both worlds....beach, lobster, snorkel, and rum punch! Virtually free!!

Cozumel for us is the Tulum Ruins.

Gotta run....meeting at the school this morning.....no, no one is in trouble. Unless they found out that I keep my kids in a cage!! :earboy2:

Forgot....there are a ton of iron-on patches at JoAnn and Michael's.....and I still want a bag, no matter what we do.

HI GUS!!!!

Hi Gus, great to hear from you! We haven't gotten around to discussing the next cruise yet, but I'm sure we will! Very cool news about Jessica's new school, our daughter Alicia is going to a performing arts high school now. She mostly dances there, but will do some acting too. She loves it!

Stacey, can't wait to see the posts you type on those itty bitty keys. Jay should just get you an internet connection at work, on a computer!

Um, dunno. Are there lifeguards? Are they cute?

My posts will look like gaRry's!! But I can use the stylus....and my fingernails work on it too.....
Jay was going to set that up for me, but I had wanted one of these, anyway, so I saved him the trouble. We would have had to install another phone line. There's only one. And....just like we found here at the house, there's only one LINE going into the building. So the phone company would have had to come out and install more lines. This just seemed so much easier. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!;)

We tend not to do big gifts for each other, but I always try to get something for her. That way she won't think I forgot.

Besides, it gives me an excuse to say "Honey, for my anniversary gift I want this new toy. Do you want me to just go get it for you"? :rotfl:

Works every time.

Is that a hint that you will help me out his year???? If so, tell me now. I am currently working ideas, so . . . . do you trust me?

Have you heard about that thing they call DSL? Runs on the same phone line. Oh, but than you would not have gotten your little toy! :rotfl:

Seems like we have a lot of anniversaries in Oct. Bruce & I will be celebrating our 8th on the 17th. We'll probably be celebrating this weekend since I'll still be in the hospital on the 17th.

Ang

Count us in too -- Sam and I are celebrating this weekend.....

If anyone wants an iron-on patch for their bag, I'd be willing to go look for some once I'm up & about again.

Sounds like an occasion for some dive gear!

You keep trying, but this is a Champagne weekend.......present is the Festival of the Senses tickets......maybe Christmas.....(actually, DH does want a regulator.computer....)

OK when I reserver equipment, it asked about BC (yes), tanks (yes) and computer (yes)....does this assume regulator? Or do I need to e-mail back (probl should) just to make sure...

I would ask for the reg. Don't assume. The other equipment is pretty useless with a reg.
