We are new to this group having just booked this cruise on 9/26. We have met a few people here on the DVC member cruise last month. We have mostly just been trying to catch up on all the posts...man...do we have our work cut out for us!! We would be interested in T-Shirts and other things that are being made for this trip! My name is Mike...my DW is Lisa and we look foward to getting to know everyone We both post with this name, so we always sign with our name at he bottom so you will know who you are talking to

I do have a CC question. We were thinking of parasailing. Who has done this and is it worth it? Do you take off/land in the water? (DH doesn't swim). Is the boat ride rough waiting for the group to take their turns? (I got seasick on the glass bottom boat).

Sandi - I did it a couple of cruises ago and loved it! You take off and land on the back of the boat. Very gentle. In fact it is so gentle at times you don't think you are moving. I think if you would like to be "dipped" they will do it.

One word of advice - don't wait until the last slot in the day. I did and the wind had changed and they took us way out. So far out Mark couldn't get any good shots from the ship. Plus we were late getting back and they made the boat go so fast we all got drenched!

We did the parasailing on CC back in 2003. I am scared of heights, but even I did it! I loved it! We almost got canceled becasue it was a very windy day, but luckily we were able to do this! I think it was worth it. You do not take off/land in the water. You stand on the boat deck, and the wind a chute will take you up. WHen it is time to come down, it is VERY easy. I loved it.

In fact, I don't like the schedule since they went to Sirrius. I miss Feets at Five on Friday mornings and Live from New Orleans at 4 PM which always started with Tequila.

Yup. Jello is ok. I'd avoid red jello if possible (that way if you-know-what comes out red you aren't wondering if it's jello or blood)

I was on the DVC cruise with you. I didn't officially meet you....but we WERE on the same bus back to Port Canaveral.

MMMMMM.....But....the recipe really is too big for 2 ppl. It's so rich we can't eat a huge piece. I have a fear it won't all get eaten.

I think next time I'll go just a little lighter on the espresso. Maybe I brewed mine too strong. It's a little bit too coffee-y, but yummmmmmy all the same!
