yesterday when Jay came home he had a handful of golf balls that he picks up on the road (there's a golf course along our road).....one of the balls had an OSU emblem on it!! I said "I have to send that one to Ohiominnie!!" they all just laughed.

A Michigan fan was probably trying to hit the ball in the water hoping to lose it forever.

Good Morning all!

It's going to be a rough day...Have been in Pilates Instructor training all weekend.

Saturday, went straight from training to the Texans game (they won! ) then yesterday from the training to the Chicago/Earth Wind and Fire Concert... It had been 15 years since our last Chicago concert. The horn section can still rock! It was great! - EWF and Chicago opened the concert for about 45 minutes together and then at the end were together for about another 45-60 minutes and each did about an hour of their music on their own...Didn't get home until almost 1am...

Today, I'm teaching a water aerobics class and then another day of Pilates training...I'm about ready to drop!!!

Alterior motives and great timing for all of this Pilates training...20th H.S. class reunion Labor Day weekend....Didn't quite get THE perfect reunion dress, but this one looks pretty darn good!

DH and I got suckered into a bowling league last night. Friends stopped by the house and said that someone backed out, could we bowl. We sign up and find out it runs until around April. All I can think about is the $$ for the games and shoe rental every week, and how I could be spending that $$ on the cruise in May! Last night I was also reminded of the main reason that I don't like bowling alleys...the cigarette smoke. I can't think of any graceful way out of it now unless we both turn up with broken appendages. I guess the fingers would be the least painful? And who is mentioning snow already? I don't even want to think about winter. I'm getting depressed already because fall is officially less than a month away.

Mary - glad you guys had such a good weekend. We did visit the Baretenders at our Irish Pub for a few Smithwicks.....

Maria - the house sounds like it is coming along, but you must have the patience of a rock, I'd be screaming by now, insisting that camping in a tent is easier. You'll have a lot to enjoy when it is all completed....

Monica - I'm jealous, my goal has been to restart Yoga and as of now, nope, didn't happen.....perhaps you are doing my share? Now just please send me my rewards,,,,Sue, maybe you could ship me a few curves?

Kevin, the Key Largo dive pictures rock. I shared them with DH last night....really spectacular!

Ang -- Pink rooms, really???? My latest bold color was one (1) wall deep coral in the bath....I like it.....(note that there are two of us in the house and I like it....) enough said.

To all Moms (and Dads too) - Kids really do need a lot of care and attention, Don't they. Congrats to Jordan for making the squad. These kids really work hard....School has already started here so the yellow school buses are out in force. "Date night" - what a hoot.....Have fun guys.

Stacey - you're stuck with the dog, no dis- takers it seems...glad the kids have worked it out though.

Sandi, just tell the other bowlers that you can't handle the cigarette smoke, and you forgot that people still smoke there. Sounds valid to me.

There's an auction house here in town that I only go to if they're selling a whole doll collection. They have estate auctions every week, but all the people that work there stand in the open door in the back and smoke. Every time I go there I get a ripping headache. You would think they would eventually realize that it's costing them customers.

Have you ever told them that? Maybe they *don't* know it. I, too, cannot tolerate cigarette smoke. Makes my eyes burn and I get a headache. Columbus just went smoke free in all public places so now at least I don't get seated just one table away from the smoking section! (as if smoke is so intelligent it knows not to cross "the line")

You bet. Lisa's very first "weekly report" from Kindergarten was "Lisa is a very hard worker, but not more cartwheeling in class". Of all the things we discussed prior to her starting Kindergarten, the fact that she could not cartwheel in class had not been on my mind. Apparently between her classroom and the library there had been some open space and she decided why walk when you can tumble.

Yeah, I told them. They weren't impressed. They think by smoking in the door, it goes outside. Wrong. I guess when they walk back inside, they can't smell it.

I do have relatives and friends that smoke, and are very considerate.

So Sharon, now she tumbles everywhere else! Lisa stopped traffic at WDW a couple of times, people thought she was a WDW performer.

There definitely "is one", but, contrary to popular opinion, most "cheer Moms" are not the "Cheer Mom" type... that's a myth. Believe me, I've been a "cheer Mom" (notice the lack of initial capitalization) for 5 years, and I'm definitely not a "Cheer Mom". It's no different than having a kid in any other sport... you cart them back and forth everywhere, spend a lot of time waiting, always have a good book in the car, and a bottomless wallet.

Thank you so much for that! I can breathe a sigh of relief now. Honest. I can handle the driving, waiting, reading, open the wallet again and again part! Been doing THAT for years!!

Someone needs to explain the "delete" thing a little further. When I quote someone, I've always just backspaced over the parts that I didn't want to quote! And sometimes that can take FOREVER! duh.

Does that include me?? Thank you...if it does. Yes to all who don't know me...I smoke. YUCK! I try to be very considerate.....and the worse thing is, I'm a hypocritical smoker.
What I can't stand and think is totally stupid....take WalMart for example....they don't give their smoking employees a "break room"....NOoooo...instead they send them outside to smoke....right in front of the entrance!! Yeah, that's better!

Highlight the area you want to delete by clicking and then dragging. When the entire area is highlighted, hit the backspace key.

The only minor problem is that if you are deleting something near the [/ thingies, you have to stop a little early because it always wants to delete the [/ so, in your post above, I might highlight "and sometimes that can take FOREVER!" and then backspace that away....THEN hit delete a few times to get rid of the "duh." If I try to do it all at once it will get rid of the endquote [/
