Construction update: Insullation is installed and inspected. Needless to say, we passed inspection. Waiting on our carpenter contractor who is supposed to hook us up with some sheet rockers and tapers. Originally he said they were supposed to start tomorrow(Mon), but there's no material here yet. Hubby will have to make another phone call to this guy. That is really holding us up. Why does insullation have to smell like urine??? What's up with that? Hubby started putting the vinyl siding up yesterday in 96 degree weather. Boy is he stubborn. That's a hard-headed Italian for ya. Any other I-talians out there?

So what kind of insulation did you install??

Last night we went to a wine tasting and benefit with tickets given to us by a friend (Nice friend. Thanks). I had some great wine including a Chocolate Port, a White Port, and BANFI!

It went really well with the chocolate fountain. To bad they would not give me the bottle and a chair to make me more comfortable next to the fountain!

Chocolate port... yum! Better make room at that fountain for a few chairs... the whole Double Scoop Group would be right at home! (hmm... can we get one for the mini-meet? ) Glad to hear that there was Banfi... wouldn't want you to have driven 20 miles to NOT have Banfi!!!

Last night we went to a wine tasting and benefit with tickets given to us by a friend (Nice friend. Thanks). I had some great wine including a Chocolate Port, a White Port, and BANFI!

It went really well with the chocolate fountain. To bad they would not give me the bottle and a chair to make me more comfortable next to the fountain!

So what is a chocolate Port taste like??

Maria....I don't envy you AT ALL. We remodeled a while back and I am sooooo glad we don't have to do it again! I love hearing about it all, though....it's interesting. Guess being in the construction business (sort of) is rubbing off on me!

All I can say about that desk is that when they put it on the scale, they all said "Wow". LOL Guess they don't usually get big heavy stuff there. I sent it from the Town Dump. I hope it has a label on it that says "Town Dump".

OK so I know yall will probably think I am nuts, but if you notice I have added another trip countdown in my siggy. My friend Heather and I have decided to head down to WDW for the F&W fest. So, we will be in the world from about 10/20 thru 10/25. I am excited becasue there is a moosefest going on during that time with the lodgeboards also! So is anyone here going to be there during that time period? I think we are going to hit the MNSSHP while we are there! Bonus, I havent been to that in 4 years! Oh yeah, I almost forgot the best part! NO KIDS! Adults only!! WOOT WOOT!!

Mark and I are spending a lot more time on the Member Cruise thread. We sail 3 weeks from today and there is much to be done. Mark has made over 200 buttons for the cruise!

Well, speaking for myself, I haven't gone anywhere. I've just been lurking and don't have anything meaningful, or useless, to say at the moment. I couldn't even come up with a Friday kareoke for the last couple of weeks. School starts Wednesday, and I'll have some 'mom time' for a couple of days a week, but must get back into the 'exercise every day' mode, not in the 'logged on to the DIS boards' mode all day. I know I'm not posting my 4-times-a-day quota, but I think others have been making up for me.
