I know they have them at Bed Bath.

Do you mean to tell me that there is actually a straight man on earth who has set foot inside a BB&B and lived to tell about it???!!!! :confused3

On another shopping note, I think I'm getting old... I was school shopping with Elizabeth in Old Navy last night, and couldn't get out of there fast enough... the music was driving me crazy!! (I think that it might be a sign of old age, but their music is REALLLYYY bad!)

Actually Mark has gone shopping with me at BBB many times.

More. I shop in Archiver's(a scrapbooking store). And boy am I in the minority there.

I hate computers!:badpc: :badpc:  No place in the north Phoenix area (let alone Cave Creek) had the programs you guys recommended......so I went ahead and ran Norton. There's still the original virus. I give up for now. Just going to unplug it till I get back from WDW and then take it to the Geek Squad, I guess.

Thanks to an entire day of messing with this (and finally getting my quarterly reports done at work) ....I have absolutely NO packing done. That leaves me with two choices....maybe three....
1. Stay up late and do it. No sleep for me = LISA appearances
2. Go naked in WDW
3. Buy all new stuff when I get there :confused3

I know you have responded but I could not resist - right when the shuttle countdown clock was at 2:00 to launch, we took a hit and I lost the battery back-up but fortunatly 'puter was ok....I just could not turn it back on....Cannot imagine what you are going through.

This website is from one of the talk shows. I have listened to her show at times and she has lots of free stuff posted. I will defer to our techies for a recommendation as to whether this is a good place for you to go.

Now as to the above options, go with #3 - #3 - #3 :cheer2:

So has DH - but he would prefer Bass Pro Shops! :earboy2:

Now, how can I post, read backwards, type and repost and it not be 40 seconds?????

Actually, the 'best' Christmas gift I ever bought Ray (according to him) was a KitchenAid stand mixer...

I'm impressed you tried it. Now that you know how it is done the next time will be easier. :flower:

This is an easy recipe, but having the right thermometer makes all the difference. Get a good wireless with remote. I think they might carry them now at Sams or Costco. I know they have them at Bed Bath. $40-50 should do it. Once you get one you will wonder how you cooked without it. :cool1:

I *had* a good thermometer. It wasn't wireless, but it was digital, you could set the temp and it'd alarm when it hit that. Just the last time I used it it was acting funny. Said the air temp was 52 degrees (that was shortly after it went up to 450 degrees for some reason)

I just forgot it was on the way out and only remembered it when I tried to use it again. I think mine was from sharper image or brookstone....some place like that. It's several years old, and I agree (when it worked) it was MUCH better than cooking without it. It changed the way I cooked!

BBB AND Archivers? WOW. You guys ought to come to Easton sometime ....maybe we can get Virgil and Frances up here and we can have a little mini-meet. :)

So, I'm getting the kids ready for acting today when Nick says "I don't feel good, my stomach is all churned up."

ARGH!

He's 1/2 done with his breakfast (which I expect I'll see again) but he has to go with me to take KT....with a bucket just in case.

We get there, he's feeling a bit better, but "not up for class."

So I head home.....we get 1/2 way home and he says "I feel perfectly fine....can I still go to acting?"

Next exit, turn around, head back.

It must have been a drop in blood sugar. He gets weird like that. He had a snack last night but said he was hungry right at bedtime and we shooed him off to bed anyway....OOPS! Bad parents.

In hind sight, I should have given him a glass of orange juice at breakfast and he'd probably have been alright the FIRST time I got downtown.....but I was afraid I'd see the OJ again! :(

I BET!!

I've been in Bed and Bath several times, but it's always search and destroy mode...... the typical "guy thing" :earseek:

So a woman is visiting her blond friend and asks the names of her two dogs.

Blond replies that their names are "Rolex and Timex"

Odd names for dogs remarks her friend.....

Duh! says the blond, they ARE watch dogs........ :cool1:

Jay very rarely goes shopping with me....and when he does, he finds a bench to sit on until I'm done. Don't tell him this, but he'd be a much wealthier man if he went along to put the kabosh on me!!

OhMinnie.....I made a prime rib roast ONCE......that might tell you something. Jay asked me to please not ruin good meat any more.:guilty:

Today's Trivia......there are two of them, because they are soooooo easy.....okay, you previous winners....give someone else a shot!

#1...... "Sure Shelley Winters can act, but who knew she could do a bravura breaststroke?"

#2..... "Okay, so it doesn't have verandahs, Katharine Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart made do"

Right now I am doing the last loads of laundry that I intend to do for an entire week! :cool1:

The excitement is building and I doubt if I'll manage to get any sleep at all tonight.

Does anyone need/want anything from WDW???

I'll take a T.O.P. to go with my HAPPY DANCE! :jumping1:

I know without googling. Those are really easy for someone as old as I am. I'll see if someone else wants to answer. :3dglasses I'll give them them until I get get off of work.

These are easy since I got them both right away. Off to have dinner with a friend.

Sue
