HA! The bottom of my recipe (written by Mr. Scuba) says "So easy even a 14 year old boy can make it!"

wow. that doesn't say much for me!

We'll see how it turns out. Smells good!

ARGH!
I think my digital thermometer is busted. It's not making sense!

I did put my old thermometer in there too, and the two are way different in their readings!

That would make cooking a prime rib interesting. You better get a new one before trying the prime rib.

I hate computers!:badpc: :badpc:  No place in the north Phoenix area (let alone Cave Creek) had the programs you guys recommended......so I went ahead and ran Norton. There's still the original virus. I give up for now. Just going to unplug it till I get back from WDW and then take it to the Geek Squad, I guess.

Thanks to an entire day of messing with this (and finally getting my quarterly reports done at work) ....I have absolutely NO packing done. That leaves me with two choices....maybe three....
1. Stay up late and do it. No sleep for me = LISA appearances
2. Go naked in WDW
3. Buy all new stuff when I get there :confused3

I guess I should think about fixing something for dinner.

Right now it's raining a little here, but it mostly missed us....lots of storms and flooding to the east and south of us. The fires burned all of the plants that would have helped the water soak into the ground...thus more flooding than usual to be expected for a while.

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone. Had a good day at work and a great lunch at Landry's with the office staff. Unfortunately hubby has to work tonight, but I came home to a very clean house and dinner already cooked courtesy of my two wonderful children. They even made some decorations and cupcakes for dessert.

Deep breath Stacey!!! :scared1:

Most of these programs you can download and try and then if you like them, pay for them. Much easier than running around and spending your cruise money on gas. :rolleyes1

Yeah, I know.....I'll try the downloads that Virgil talked about....at least for now I can copy all of my files to disk...that's a plus. And I did get my packing done. So, no LISA, no nakedness, and no buying stuff at WDW. Well, maybe some fun stuff! :teeth:

Did you talk to Diana? Did she feel the Earth move? When the shuttle took off....

:flower1: Good morning cruisers! :flower1:

Happy Wednesday!

Pam - sounds like you had a nice birthday!

Karen (OM) - how did the dinner come out?

Good Morning All - Yesterday am I was just laying in bed enjoying life, Jesse and Sam cuddled up next to me, thinking about what I was going to do with Nick and Emmy when POOF, no electricity. If I had gotten up earlier and made coffee..........
Sent Jeanne off to sr ctr w/o a shower and I left to get the children. The temp was to get to 100 with high humidity so I came back to the house (with Nick and Em) to take Jesse and Sam to the vet for the day. Electricity was on!!!!!!!

Sue

Sue - glad to hear you got it back!

I went into work yesterday and one of the woman I work with stopped by and asked if we had electricity. We did but she had been out since 8 pm the night before. She only lives about a mile and a half from me. They had large limbs down from the trees where we only had small braches and twigs.

Stay safe!

I'm impressed you tried it. Now that you know how it is done the next time will be easier. :flower:

This is an easy recipe, but having the right thermometer makes all the difference. Get a good wireless with remote. I think they might carry them now at Sams or Costco. I know they have them at Bed Bath. $40-50 should do it. Once you get one you will wonder how you cooked without it. :cool1:

Good morning all! Hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday. It's hump day.

Temps are high here in GA although the humidity is down from last week. The smog is bad in ATL metro today - code red alert. It hasn't rained in a while for us. The mosquitoes are AWFUL! I guess that's thanks to all of that rain we had a few weeks ago. Cool front is expected to come through over the weekend so next week we'll be back down in the upper 80s again.

Monica,

I ordered the Stott Pilates Basic video. It came in yesterday & did it last night. Maybe I should have taken your recommendation & gotten the professional version instead of the home version. I thought it was short but maybe that's good as I don't have a lot of time at night anyway. I started it after the girls went to bed & was able to finish shortly after 9:00. Last night I felt like I was just going through the motions. I'll have to concentrate more on doing it correctly. I'm sure as I get used to the flow, it'll by easier to control movements. It's a well-made video. Anyway, I think it's a good starting point for me. Thanks!

Angie
