Wait a sec....you can't even meet the ppl who live a mile from you, but you want to drive to meet someone who lives 1000 miles from you? (stick poke smilie here)

I don't know how open we'll be for meeting anyone. We only have a WEEK at WDW and a lot to cram in, but we'll talk as things get closer.

I thought it was time to check in before my flight to Texas. I'm going to gymnastics camp with Lisa this morning. Of course I get to fly First Class, Lisa has to sit in the back.

So far this week I have been to Blizzard Beach and started Harry Potter. Hopefully I will be able to post some pictures shortly of Blizzard Beach. It was really cool, especially since it was Lisa's birth day.

Off I go to the airport!

Really good news! We are going to the Performing Arts HS in the morning to register Alicia for 9th grade! There's an opening, we got the call today. Long summer of uncertainty, but it finally paid off. I'm so relieved. So tomorrow will be registration, hair appointments, shopping for school supplies. Got to get ready now, school starts two days after she returns from the dive trip.

No, your eyes aren't deceiving you... I AM actually on at 12:31AM... just getting back to my room... I'm in West Palm on business... if you can really call it that. (Though we DID give our parent company a good deal of business tonight.) I would have liked to eat at Schula's tonight, but we were 'hosting' the reception, so it was catered 'BBQ' food... really not bad though. Now I'm just catching up on everything that I missed today (yesterday)... like stitches, demon kitties, and an uneventful ride to Colorado.

We literally ran into a rather large gator today... out walking on a 1/2 hour break before dinner... some of my counterparts and I walked over this 'picturesque' bridge on the golf course, to come face to face with a 7 ft gator, mouth wide open. He eventually decided to go back into the water hole that he came from, thank goodness!! (All I could think of was Little Red Riding Hood... Grandma, what big teeth you have!)

Time for me to get some sleep before I am so rudely awakened by breakfast in the AM... oh wait... it is the AM....

It seems that my only free time is right now... I'm having breakfast on my balcony overlooking the pool and the golf course. (I love my job, I love my job, I love my job). We are free til 1, but I really need to meet with my counterpart from Tallahassee to go over some events. (Thankfully, we can have our meeting poolside.)

I HAVE met Sharon... for 5 minutes at the Middle School orientation. And besides... we are moving twice as far away from the Scuba's if all goes well with the house soon... we'll be 2 miles away instead of 1.

I know what you mean about cramming in the WDW visit... I'll be working the FL Restaurant Show in Orlando that week, so I'll probably hit the parks for a little while... maybe I'll run into you.
