And if a tropical storm makes it all the way to Chicago, we're in BIG trouble!!!!!!

Mark just likes to keep track of the storms - especially when they are impacting the cruise line or our friends. We spent one of the hurricanes last year watching live updates via the web from one of the Orlando stations.

"Actually, my best day there was just renting a jeep and driving around the island. It wasn’t a really long drive and you could stop at all kinds of neat little beaches and cabana type places. You get a real local feel that way and you get away from the Senor Frogs/Carlos and Charlies crowd."

:wave2:

My sister and I decided to 'explore' Cozumel on our own (on foot)... ended up by the military base, which was a pretty creepy place, and wandered across a disgusting drunk man 'entertaining' himself on the wall leading to the beach... ICK!!!:earseek: (This was AFTER we encountered a dead pelican floating in the surf in Miami 2 days before... oh, the visual memories of THAT trip!!)
We promptly hailed a $10 cab, and went back to the 'civilized' portion of the beach... hung out at Chakannab all day. (Should have done that in the first place.)

Oh yea, that's for sure!

I just watch it for my beloved home away from home. And so I can tell where Jim is with his jeep today.

Just like I watch the Weather Channel in the winter and :rotfl2: and :rotfl2: and :rotfl2: at my friends and family...

No... I have no sense of direction... but if you're standing in front of Senor Frogs, don't go too far down the road to the LEFT... that's where we went. Once you get past all the little local shops (and the great silver place down that end) TURN AROUND... GO BACK THE OTHER WAY!!!!!! CREEEEEEPY!

:confused3 Maybe it's NOT the jeep????? :earseek:

Wow... and you call yourself his FRIEND!!! The poor man's not even here to defend himself!!!

Hmm... now that you mention it... it didn't rain here YESTERDAY, and somebody-who-shall-remain-nameless-who-lives-nearby WASN'T here.... coincidence???? Maybe not!!!

(And it hasn't rained yet today, either!)

I know, it was a cheap shot! :earseek:

But you know you can always

at your friends! (that's cause they won't slug you.......hard)

wow it sure is mighty quiet in ehre tonight... maybe I can get away with some vandalism.....

It is now Hurricane Dennis - so we need prayers and pixie dust for a huge wind sheer to develop to cut this guy down to size. Jamaica does not need it anymore than the Florida panhandle, although the models have wiggled around the gulf coast all day....now where is my anti-hurricane smilie? :wave2:
