I just got home from the pool and teaching, and changed out of my swimsuit into PJ's before I read your post...PJ's are anytime wear!!!

p.s. I'm rejoining WISH! I must do something, I have a cruise in less than 10 weeks and I gave away all of my larger cruise clothes! If Mr. Scuba can carry a carafe into dinner, can I wear PJ's?

No...no...that poor chocolate - it's getting all white and filmy in the refrigerator!!! Set it free!!!

No need to get duct tape - there's been lots of studies recently about how good chocolate, especially the dark chocolate (in my house, that's the only kind) is for your health...endorphines, antioxidents etc...Just what I needed to hear!!!

But when its not in the fridge, the ants get it first (FL has more ants than it knows what to do with)... my pseudo-boss buys it, and keeps the produce drawer stocked FULL... it would be OK if I could eat one... just one... but I can't do that!!!

So, DH and I have been talking about moving to FL or GA in the next few years. This morning he tells me that the older he gets, the less he can take the heat, that maybe FL and GA would be too far south! Just because it's been in the 90's here for the last 10 days with no rain. Just wait until it's 10 below with 2 feet of snow. I can gripe more in the winter than he can in the summer. WE are wondering if we would be able to afford home owner's insurance in FL. How bad has it gotten?

I'm all for WDW and DCL more often, but DH balks at spending the money. We don't drink (although we did have a couple of bottles of Banfi that we stretched over a month), probably go out to eat more than we should, but not more than once a week, and have only been to 2 or 3 movies in the last year. My dad died at age 68 after 2 years battling cancer, so didn't get to 'enjoy' his retirement. My aunt, his sister, died at age 68 as did both of their parents. I told DH that since I take after my dad's side of the family, I'm going to live like I only had 18 more years (age 68) and enjoy life. Some days he agrees with me and other days he worries about spending too much money.

I know that we pay way too much in real estate taxes compared to other states, and our homeowners insurance is over $800/yr! The only thing keeping us from moving now is DH's job and benefits. The utility company that he works for has changed hands twicein the last few years. His job is union (I won't comment on the unions here, even though we are forced to pay union dues every month for the 'privilege' of DH keeping his job) and not likely to be eliminated like the 150 IT jobs like I used to do. But if anything did happen to his job, we'd be packing up the same day.

We have an interesting day today here. The wind has been out of the West and has sent all of Stacey's smoke from the fires this direction. Woke up this morning with the smell of smoke and the city has sent out a "air advisory" and has told all people with respiratory problems to stay indoors.

It's better than fires though........

Thought I should try a longer post to quote.

We still have fire burning...about 8 miles to the north of us, but the smoke smell is gone. It's weird to watch it...you can tell when it hits fresh "fuel" and flares up, just by the smoke rising.

The posts that I quoted of Sandis I was unable to read...She had quoted someone else in her OP and it cut off her replies...the only way I can read them is to hit the "quote" button on her post and it takes me to the page where I type my reply..it is doing this to me in my othre meet thread too..like here http://disboards.com/showpost.php?p=9026210&postcount=331 and the next few posts after that....

The only thing I can think of, is that when you reply to something that someone has written, and they have already quoted a first person, using the "quote" button... and the "reply" page comes up, it only shows the 2nd person's quote...and not the original quote. It's always been like that. Is that what you're having trouble with??

Mary...yes...I can see both. I thought maybe she couldn't see both when she was trying to quote someone's post that already had a quote in it. Does that make sense?
