Must have had 25-30 bottles of different wines from different areas.

I volunteer Jim to head that up! :earseek: Let the man know of your approval!!! :rotfl2: Do I hear a second?

The homemade wine by the Morks was really, really good! :)

I second Jim for organizing this....after all, he's the wine expert. ;)

That's interesting! If only you got together with us crazy folks on the 10-day Christmas cruise. We had a BIG wine tasting party there. Lots of folks brought a bottle and we had a great time. Must have had 25-30 bottles of different wines from different areas.

I volunteer Jim to head that up! :earseek: Let the man know of your approval!!! :rotfl2: Do I hear a second?

Now we have rules and parlimentary procedures to follow??? :teeth:

OK - I'll second. :drinking1 :drinking1

On the repo cruise we did had a wine tasting. Everyone brought a bottle of wine from thier state or thier favorite wine. We met in Diversions and DCL supplied glasses. There were some very interesting wines, many very good and others not so good. We certainly enjoyed ourselves. Alex :jumping1:

Hear - Hear :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

:worship: thank you! thank you! I'm right in the middle of rehearsals for, what else, but Sound of Music - don't think I want to hear that song again for awhile...

Brings to mind an episode of one of the infamous British Comedies - Good Neighbors. Don't watch it 'til after your show.

Break a Leg.

When is show time??? :hourglass

OhioMinnie (Karen),

Got the package of Mickey pin backs today. Thanks for the stickers for the girls too. You did the p.c. thing by sending two sheets which means NO FIGHTING! That was very sweet of you. Oh ... thanks for the extras too.

Just got back from a 3-day weekend with DD in Kentucky. She doesn't have internet! I told DH on the phone yesterday that there would probably be 20 pages of posts to catch up on. I was right on the money...but made it through all of them.

Now that's dedication! :goodvibes

Being a native, we do not venture into the parks in July - but - you can still have fun. It is like packing for a cruise - write down everything you want to do and then cut the list by half so you can spend the afternoons in the shade and inside! So, if the trip if for relaxation - and not to make the most of the ticket - here's some suggestions:

After lunch (by 2:00 at the latest) head to the pool, cool shower and then a nap - and remember that all important sunscreen, hat for the parks, long-sleeves if she is fair skinned and lots and lots and lots of water....At least one glass of water for each glass of beer will do it...Then you are rested for the evening which should not begin before 5:00....

We love looking around the hotels, and that is fun for the afternoon if you don't want to nap....Downtown Disney is out because of the walking and heat. And forget the parks. Even the Bar at Tusker House becomes unbearable after May...As for the water parks - they tend to close (Full Up) before noon...at least on weekends.

Anyway - Good Luck.

Thanks for the advise, I will pass it on. And Nick and Emmy are really begging me to go along, NOT THIS TIME.

I like the wine tasting idea even though I'm not much of a wine drinker. We have a few options for the great wine making state of GA  . I've heard that Chateau Elan makes a dessert wine and I'm sure other wines too. And, it's not quite a wine but someone gave us a bottle of apple beer from Helen, GA (I think?). I actually liked that one.

It is because you've raised a great kid or because his dad acts like a 15 year old boy? :rotfl2: or both???

Without question - the answer is BOTH!! Matt is a great kid and Jim is a kid at heart. (Ask Kevin if you doubt me)

We run for 10 shows July 14 - 24. It's crunch time!!!

I added "Good Neighbors" into my Netflix queue. Can't wait to figure out which episode you mean...Have you seen "Waiting for Guthman" from the Spinal Tap Director? - hysterically quirky - in a local theatre way...Although I liked Spinal Tap better.

local wines...hmm - LLano wines from Lubbock...I'm sure there's other Texas wines, but that's all I've tried.

My sister has recommended a Maryland wine for me to bring. Wait, she is coming on this cruise. My sister has a favorite wine she will be proud to share.
