It's amazing how we move from one fluff subject to another. From living in FL to the cost of college education to college allegiances.Angie

How dare you call college sports 'fluff'!?!

too far from the ocean for my liking...
but, Florida in the summer still beats New Hampshire in the winter
Nothing is further from the ocean than my house, now...and I don't want to even think about another Illinois winter.

My sis spent 3 years at Chanute AFB... I never realized Hell had such a large soybean crop...

That's not 100% though, or am I mistaken?
You should know.......

Yeah, the only "fluffy" college sports program I know is the University of Michigan. Bunch of fluff there!

I do... now that Jim enlightened me... :teacher: ... thanks for the shared TOP

Elizabeth's still got 3 years before she starts worrying about her high school grades... let's get through middle school first!

The rain has started... looks like we're in for a messy weekend. :umbrella:

To take a breath.

No, actually, it gets to confusing for me to do all the quoting and that...hard for me to keep up.

Easier for me to just hit "quote-open in a new window" and reply to *that* post. :)
I agree! Some of us are just 'simple folks'!

Corn, don't forget the corn...
Oh yeah... that's a given!
I'll never forget going to visit her, and going to watch my BIL's softball game... the field was 'carved' into the middle of a soybean field... and this was before "Field of Dreams" came out. Now I can't watch that movie without thinking about the fact that there really ARE fields like that!!

Change of plans this morning. Took a look at my spreadsheet and saw that Magic Kingdom was the early entry park this morning so opted for Epcot instead.

Got to Soarin' at 9:30 and the wait was already an hour. Grabbed a fast pass and spent the next hour at Imagination and Innovations then road Soarin'. After that walked around World Showcase and now I'm back in the room for lunch, packing and some relaxation!

It has been a great trip!

Hey Scubas! Does your V&A menu say what the port pairing was with the cheesecake course? Kevin doesn't know where he put our menus, and I want some of that! I think Jim had it too.

I don't know if Jim answered this or not (too lazy to read through all of the posts to find out):

Kevin - the thread has over 26,000 posts now. Matt had the honor post #24,000 the morning we cruised. The benefits of living close to the port!

Very cool - an early morning top with Kevin & Matt and everyone on the 10 day who helped us get to 24,000 posts by cruise time!

It was fun watching Matt & Leslie (Pin Diva) chatting back and forth with absolute fluff trying to get the 24,000th post. There are many more of us close to the port this trip, so there could be a lot more posting close to the time we cruise. (We were all jealous here of those of you who were able to start your vacation early before the cruise. Our kids were in school thru the Friday before we left - Bad Hurricanes!!!)

But won't you be tenting outside of the terminal? ;)

Elizabeth has plans to be an FSU cheerleader... God Help Us All!!!!!

Matt is looking for a Flight School with Scuba Diving near by.

Lisa is looking for a school with a Pre-Med Program and a Gymnastics Team.

Jim wants them to go somewhere where the diving is good - Matt will work on that angle, but unless Jim relents and lets Lisa learn to dive, she won't make that a priority of hers (so, another reason Jim should consider letting Lisa learn to dive)

OSU!

Of course, diving would be limited to the murky rivers!! :)
