Don't feel guilty, Scoopie. You're a busy cone. The kids probably just drip all over the place anyway. ;)
:rotfl2: :rotfl: You're good lady!!!!!!!!

Hi to all! We were also on the westbound repo cruise and are SRIOUSLY thinking of joining your fun as well.

How many Disers are sailing on this cruise. Is there a central repository of info (other than the 8000+ posts ;)) to reference. I'd like to come up to speed and join the fun. Some the the repo folks put together great wb sites and posts as a point of reference and wondered if you may have one as well.

Have fun,
Steve

Well call me bad mom, but I don't censor my children all to much. My parents never censored my books, movies or TV shows and I was grateful for that.I didn't seek things out as a kid, but if I came across something questionable, I tried to handle it with maturity. I will be letting CJ, Taylor and Max see the Fantastic Four. No biggie here. They all saw Star Wars and we loved it.

It's not that I'm trying to 'sensor' him... he's the kind of kid who you think is tough, but came out of the "Stitch Alien Encounter" so afraid that he was crying. With the movie being PG-13, I just think the action (scary) scenes might get to him.

That line sounds familiar!!

Heck, I could have said the same thing, and have!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I've been on the road all day today. Sad part is that I drove by WDW around 6 PM and it was pouring rain. Hopefully Mark, Mary, and Bear were dry.

I reviewed the posts for today and since there was nothing posted about wine or diving I'm not responding, but going to bed.

Hey Kiki I hope you didnt take that the wrong way....I wasn't putting your style down out all......we are all different and the truth is no one has a manual on raising kids becasue each and everyone is different! We can only hope and pray that we are raising them right!

I'm going to bed too folks. I am beat.....I am off going to try and read Princess Diaries for a bit...

Kiki, I didn't know there was a contortionist act at AK. What are they called, and where do they perform? We'll have to try and catch their act next trip. Always on the lookout for something new...

If you look at the photo, the 'construction' behind them is Expidition Everest... they were right out on the walkway by the surrey that looks like it's loaded with stuff... I'm not good with directions, especially at AK (sorry... no GPS coordinates for ya) but I think it was to the right of Kali River Rapids. Can't remember their name either, but they performed almost every hour.

No - not at all... :flower:

Now I'm off to read a good book before bed... all the library talk sent me to the library at lunch... picked up:

Julie Garwood - Killjoy
Randy Wayne White - Twelve Miles Out
Divine Secrets of the YaYa Sisterhood (I think I'm the only woman alive who's never read it.)

Those should hold me til the weekend.

Killjoy - great!
12 Miles - haven't read it - let me know what you think
Ya Ya - fills in a lot that the movie didn't explain...(I finally read both in the series...)

Steve - I know for a fact that there are still Cat 9's available...

"bout two weeks ago we booked a room for MIL and there were plenty of those left...

don't know the category (isn't that bad) but it had a porthole if that helps! ;)

Yep , last year we rented Bad News Bears when Maggie's basketball team was going through a rough time - but, that lasted all of about 10 minutes

Which makes me wonder.....if it went over my head as a kid, will it do the same to my kids? I mean after all, I watched Three's Company, Love Boat, Fantasy Island...and I turned out normal, right?

hi it's me scoopie .
We went to see Herbie . It was funny we enjoyed the movie. My favorite part was when Herbie made of fun of the bad guy. That was Maggie's favorite too. She thought that the girl driver had a great name Maggie! It's bed time! Maggie's grandma is coming tomorrow!
Good Night
Scoopie

:ssst::crowded: It's crowded in Maggie's bed with all of her stuffed animals!

Hey,

Was this really the double scoop thread today? :confused3 I think we did a lot of non-fluff posting today...wow! What happened????

Herbie was really cute - definitely in the spirit of the original - of course, nothing could have been worse than Herbie goes banannas...The music was a lot of fun! Maggie was so excited to see Jeff Gordon - didn't know she even knew who he was - guess they've been watching racing while I've been DIS'ing...Of, course we had to take our bug to the movie - too bad it wasn't a drive in...
