The above two both posted that they had other cruises before May 2006 and would join us after these cruises. We could PM for them not to forget us.

I found these other names (search for welcome aboard - which is what you normally see when a new cruisemate posts for the first time). Anyway - we could PM them as well??? We'd need to search to find their post names.

There's only one talk show host in Chicago that I know of that is an equal fanatic about golf and the Beatles - Uncle Bobby, Spike, and then Wally I'd have to rank as my favorite icons past and present of WGN.

yikes! Thankfully, no one was home! Otis is a darlin' dog! I'm praying he escaped. Definitely prayers for his family and for the housesitter, too!

On an aside note - It drives me crazy to be limited in my browsing of the Trib - old habits die hard...I miss my Trib...

Nope, no pool here, we have to make use of our community pool - which is fine, everyone else has pools so, it's like we have a huge pool all to ourselves...

Sadly the report is that Otis didn't make it.

I grew up with WGN. As a child it was Wally in the morning. Then later Uncle Bobby. Still remember the night I was driving home from work and they were trying to get hold of him on his cell phone but he was dead from a plane crash. Then came Spike. These men are part of our daily lives as they come into our bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen every weekday morning.
