I'm still waiting for Alicia to finish book 5, then she will start book 6. Kevin will get it after that, though I think he's hoping I'll break down and buy the audio book CDs. I did brag to her that I guessed certain romances correctly, though.

How was Lisa's week at gymnastics camp?

We will find out tonight. Lisa is not very good about callng us when she is gone to camp. She gets wrapped up in all the fun and forgets we exist (I guess that is good. At least I know I will never have to deal with homesickness.) She has spent a week in Texas at Karolyi's since she turned 6. Looking back at pictures of her leaving with her Coach at that age are fun. I know she is small now, but she really was tiny back then (and she didn't call and wasn't homesick back then).

Jim, when are you and Sharon arriving on Friday? I might beg a ride to a grocery store! I'll buy Banfi!

I will be over early Friday morning as I have a conference at the Yacht Club on Friday and 1/2 day on Saturday (good timing). Jim will be over soon after noon (after her drops Lisa at the gym) unless I can make other arrangements to get her to the gym on Friday. Then he will be there earlier. See ya soon. So since we may end up with two cars (probable) I am sure we can work out a trip to the grocery store for you.

Thanks! I'll PM my cel number. Not sure where we will be Friday, but never very far from the resort.

NO!

Last night I finished re-reading book 5. I wanted it to be fresh before starting 6. This morning I started book 6. I had to take it away from Matt before he went away for the week.

I have to finish it by Saturday night so can we please hold off until the weekend?

ok - no :chat:

Good Morning All - Beautiful morning here! Elizabeth is still with us and we are having a fun time. Today is a stay at home day with chores.

Sue

Good Morning - a bit late. Yesterday was spent scrubbing my Mother's kitchen florr, tops of cabinets, you know the hard cleaning. DH was a real trooper. Did floors, windows, screens. Seems my Mother's screens have been in backwards for over 50 years. Well, that was the way my Daddy did it, so I put them back the same way -- feel real stupid about right now.

Then it was off to the pub for several cool ones, check out my typos last night. And then, just sitting down to Dis and we have Company - drop by friends are so nice, you don't need to cook or clean, just be yourself, love it!

Church today, a little hurrahs for Lance and like Sue it has been time to tackle my own home. Taking a wee break - for a post poll.

How long should it take to clean one room. Anyone who says less that 5 hours, please come over here Quick. Course, I guess I should clean more than once upon a time.....Oh well, poor Cinderella.... :wave2:

No, its not safe yet. My dw is reading it to my ds and I, we finished chapter two last night. :cool1:

OK - no HP chatting yet.....I think I will re-read it in the meantime, short of reading material right now....but I have one cruise exchange book all set....

I'd head out to the bookstore this afternoon, but I think I see rain and besides, I have all that cleaning to finish. Byt this rate, by the time I finish, I will have to start over...pooh! :confused3

We got a nice, long rain last night. It was soooooo wonderful, and it looks like it may rain again today. I can't tell you how grateful we are to have that rain!

Had to laugh at the little dog last night, though. Remember, he'd never been outside much until he moved in with us. I took him out one last time last night, it was raining. He ran out into the yard......and stopped dead. He stood there, looked around, looked up.....and came running back to the porch. I had to go stand in the rain to get him to go out in it and do his business. Not that I minded standing in the rain...it was cool and wonderful.
What surprised me was that he wasn't afraid of the occasional thunder and lightning.

Same old, same old here today. Laundry....maybe start to pack....and I have got to get started on those invoices......so everyone have a lovely day!!!

Glad you are getting rain....They hust told us that we are getting a sand storm from Africa - look for red dust on cars....What next? :rolleyes2

What time is dinner????????? :wave2: Dave and I have been laying tile this weekend, and have lived on Pizza and Subway. HAHAHAHAHA!
Thursday night, after we removed all the furniture from the family room, I decided that now would be a great time to repaint, so Friday we repainted a HUGE section of our house. We've spent yesterday and today putting down tile. :jumping1:

It looks great! Now we just have to do the guest bath, kitchen, laundry room and den. ::yes::

And then - on to my house???? :rolleyes1

I don't need tile, but I could use some paint.... :wave2:

Hey, Stacey, take a look at this rumor thread! You might join DVC yet!

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=756103

Whoo Hooo! They have a little bit of land they could add on to the Grand Californian.....THAT would be perfect! But, if it's on the back side of the MK...that would be incredibly cool, too. Perfect view of the fireworks from there!
Gosh, Diana...I don't think I can handle any more excitement for a while. We had rain, we're going to WDW, and now there might be DVC options at Disneyland!
 :faint: What next??

Sorry, Stacey, I don't have anything else. Wouldn't want to get you over-excited.

A red dust storm from Africa, all the way across the Atlantic? How is that possible?

Apparently, it gets swirled up in the same waves that become hurricanes, they dance across the ocean, with the heavier material falling out, and eventually, we get the rest.......OK - Mr. Science I ain't. :earsboy:

Potential Aplogies in Order as well as request for Techno help.

If I have not replied to a PM for any of you, I apologize and it was not intentional. Apparently DH's computer has "spammed" the Dis-Support Board. We have tried to turn it off but with unreliable success....I think, I am only missing the actual receipt for a PM, not the message itself...but being the "sensitive type", I did not wish for you to think I was ignoring you.

Anone else had this happen with SPAM programs? My 'puter at work is fine!

Thanks...

Oh, yeah, I was supposed to be cleaining, wasn't I? :wave2:

And then - on to my house????

Yes...........but I was thinking more about Steaks, not painting! :teeth:

We've lived in this house 4 and 1/2 years..........the LONGEST we've ever stayed in one place for the 18 years we've been married. We NEEDED to repaint!!!!!!!!!!
(I'm sure Dave's boss will have transfer notice for him on Monday morning!)

I know one was in the wine country - but the wine biking tour might get our points.... :wave2:

Oooh... that sounds great! We found some great info a few years back on a biking and cooking tour through the wineries of Tuscany... Ray would have been in his GLORY!!!! Cycling, cooking, wine... all in Italy... it doesn't get any better than that!!! (We didn't go... it was too pricy... but its fun to dream!)

That does sound fun!

I couldn't imagine a more interesting place for that kind of experience!! :teeth: To bad you couldn't go..... :sad1:

We had ash on the patio and in the pool from these last fires and they were miles away.....amazing what the wind can carry.

Finally got all my invoices done. My boss makes me hand-write them all out. No computer generated stuff for us....nuh uh...nooooo, that would be too easy!
Feels good to be done, though.

We're going to check the hours at the Outlet Mall...he also decided he needs new shoes. Now. I may never get to pack. If I don't, does that mean I can just buy new clothes in Florida?? ::yes::
