KikiKaren congratulations on post number 7500!

(that's useful, right?)
Wow... I must have been half-asleep last night... I totally missed that it was another milestone post, or I would have been more profound (or at least used the Mr. Bill photo again...

We will (hopefully) be doing a week at WDW before the cruise. That is why I went ahead and bought PAP's for us this last trip. So we will head to the port Sat morning from Orlando.
I just looked at our school calendar... the kids are done on Wed... so maybe I'll take an extra day (making up for Memorial Day) and hit one of the parks, just to get us 'in the mood'...

While walking out Sharon mentioned it was like being on a cruise without the big price tag...to just sit beachside with a drink, watching some guys surf fish, band playing inside....how could anything be wrong!
Wow... can't say I've ever heard the North Turn compared to a cruise... but it is a great place to sit and chill (yeah... chill when it's 90 degrees...) Inlet Harbor is always my favorite place for atmosphere... I think it goes back to when I used to wait all year to go there while on vacation- before we moved here.)

maybe for some, their idea of fun was avoiding large crowds and commotion.
whatever.
Then this DEFINITELY isn't the thread for them...

Commotion is our middle name! And looking at Mary's roster, were at something like 70 cruisers so far... that's with 49.5 weeks to go!

"see ya mom, i'm going out to play with my friends, i'll be back before dinner" (???)
Some things never change, do they??

Most likely the same people who were posting a week ago about rethinking their cruise because of the girl missing in Aruba.
I guess for some everything is black and white - no grey area at all.
And the same people who now don't want to visit FL anytime from June-Nov because it's hurricane season... good... STAY HOME!!!! Now, if I used that logic, but with snowstorms (which are much more prevalent, BTW), as to whether or not to fly back home to visit my family, it would rule out October-April- no more family holidays for me, I guess!

Frances did get quite sick on MS - but it passed within 30 minutes.... of course Lauren and I loved it.....
Elizabeth and I LOVED it the first time we went on, but quickly learned that going on twice in a row (within 5 minutes) is not advisable... it took us about an hour to lose that 'green' feeling afterward... and neither of us ever get queasy on anything! (no, no barf bags were deployed...)
I really need to clean my office today... no coming back here til its done!
