I hit my 300th post & didn't know it. Mary, I've got a LOT of catching up to get to where you are! I'll miss out on the 6000th reply this weekend. We're heading out tomorrow afternoon for a weekend in Chattanooga. Not quite WDW but it'll be family vacation time.

Well, the summer vacation has officially begun. I wonder how many times I will get called at the office today. Yesterday was a lot of fun. My daughter had her fifth grade party and about 8 of us mom chaperoned at Bobo's Adventure Park (mini golf, cars, boats, etc.) We were there for 5 hours and the weather was great, not too hot and not windy. I cried going into the elem. school since I knew we wouldn't be there anymore.

My parents left this morning and so now it is time to get the house back in order and start thinking about packing for our upcoming trip to WDW. I can't wait for vacation time.

Bear is a registered poster - he was quite the posting fool on the 10 day as we played a game called where's Bear? He'd post a picture and people would have to guess where it was taken. Oh the things we did to get to 24,000 posts by cruise time.

That was a fun game. We might need a round of "Where's Bear?" on this thread.

Oh, I know...let's have an "exchange bear" program where you send someone Bear and that person will show Bear a good time in that city and then send him onto the next person. Then we can submit pictures of Bear all over the country doing things he otherwise wouldn't have gotten to do!!! yeah, like I even think for one nanosecond that Mary and Mark would box up Bear and ship him anywhere!!!

They certainly wouldn't want to send him to my house and chance never getting him back. I have 2 DDs that love stuffed animals & love to cuddle with them at night. Bear might become a favorite.

today is beautiful here, sunny and breezy, mid 70s.

I like the idea of a 'traveling' mascot. Several years ago I took a stuffed dog to WDW for a school in Iowa. I got it from a friend who drives an 18 wheeler. I left 'shag' at a truck stop off I95 in FL. We sent post cards to the school along the way.

DS loves his stuffed animals, even at his age. He asked if Bear would be at our mini-meet with Mary and Mark next month!

My college sorority sister started taking a "Happy Meal" Mike from Monster's INC. with her to Cedar Point and a few vacations around the country this year - it started a "Where's Mike trend" - My kids love taking his "double" with them wherever they go - to see where they can get a picture of Mike...They would love do that with an ice cream cone or an animal!

I was just going to add this on my last post - but, then I'd figure I'd shamelessly boost my count...

Had a great time with the 4th graders at their parties - I think I stayed out in the sun too long - I voluntarily took the extra watermelon and water balloons to Maggie's class and ended the day leading games with them...
