Do you ask your ta for recommendations with lodging, sightseeing, transportation? I must say I am very disappointed with the ta I used for Alaska. Too late to change now since we leave on June 8. I want to give feed back when I return and I don't know if my expectations are too high.
Thanks, Sue
Sue,
The only travel agent I've used recently has been Dreams and they are the best, but only do Disney.
Years ago I used a TA for our other cruises and I don't think your expectations are too high at all. They should be able to help you plan your entire trip including lodging, sightseeing and transportation. Especially since you have special needs with the wheelchair. Have you checked over on the cruise critic board? I'm thinking you might be able to get some help deciding on what you need there and then you can tell your TA what you need (even though they should be offering). Good luck!
