Do any of you use a ta? Should I expect my ta to know about my flights, change in times, meals served, seat assignment, help with traveling with a wheel chair, or am I expecting too much?
Do you ask your ta for recommendations with lodging, sightseeing, transportation? I must say I am very disappointed with the ta I used for Alaska. Too late to change now since we leave on June 8. I want to give feed back when I return and I don't know if my expectations are too high.

Thanks, Sue

Sue,

The only travel agent I've used recently has been Dreams and they are the best, but only do Disney.

Years ago I used a TA for our other cruises and I don't think your expectations are too high at all. They should be able to help you plan your entire trip including lodging, sightseeing and transportation. Especially since you have special needs with the wheelchair. Have you checked over on the cruise critic board? I'm thinking you might be able to get some help deciding on what you need there and then you can tell your TA what you need (even though they should be offering). Good luck!

:bday: Happy Birthday to Virgil and Irene!! Belated Birthday wishes to Maggie! :bday:

what to do, what to do.....

After hours and hours of ballet rehearsals, a seemingly endless dress rehearsal, and a recital last night, life is calm again....in addition, my parents have taken the kids home with them!!!

now, what to do, what to do.....

(well, other than be there at ballet for costume return for an hour and a 1/2 tonight!!!)

:cool1: Whoe hee - That means that our second cruise (yes we are still newbies) will have the new show and a new look! Wowy - did we luck out on this timing!

Thanks.....for the info!!!!

Last year we were hiking in the Appalachians and I had champagne on the trail. Took my cell phone for the first time to call my Mother and had service on the minute I was born to call her and celebrate! :bday:

My DH was kind to hike in 2 bottles of wine, cheese, champagne and all the trimmings for the BIG event... :love2: Natch we hiked it out as well.

This year, we are saving up for our November cruise when we realized that we could not wait for May 2006 - pretty soon I will be as D crazed as the rest of you. :earsgirl:

That is a true sport to pack all that on the trail. I thought hauling a little port was pretty good.

Even more impressive is that you were on the trail with him.

You'd love the hike that we did a few years back in PA... its organized by a winery in the Poconos... it's s 7-mile hike on a portion of the App. trail that ends up at the winery (the hike is lead by the winemaker himself)... after the hike, the family that owns the winery makes a gourmet Italian meal, complete with lots of great wine for tasting!!

We are getting ready to leave the house for the Mouse house, and more!

We will check in from WDW, once we get settled in, probably about Sunday or so. Alicia and I are taking the laptop so we can download the pictures taken during diving for the first few days and "poor Diana" will have no computer!! :guilty:

See all of you who will be around at WDW for our mini DIS meets. For the rest, don't have to much fun without us!! :rotfl2:

I'll need to hear more about this hike on the Magic, holding a drink with a little umbrella in it. :umbrella:

I've been having trouble getting on here...keeps freezing up. I had posted and thought it went through, but it didn't. Oh well.
Jordan's graduation ceremony was very nice. The kids were pretty proud.
One last baseball game tonight....until after the cruise, when they go to tournament.

We leave tomorrow morning for our quick trip to Las Vegas, will check back in when we get home. Everyone have a super Memorial Day weekend!!
