Kids got new goggles for the upcoming Disney trip.

They claim "fog resistant lenses." Do I need to do anything to them prior to their first use? Something about toothpaste? Does it have to be regular or can it be gel? I also have Sea Gold Anti-fog gel that Mary so KINDLY picked up for me before the 10 day. Is that appropriate for new goggles?

It's just not classy to spit in your goggles all the time. And you know me, I'm ALL about class!!!

To clean them before the first use - regular toothpaste (not gel).

Then before each use go ahead and use the anti-fog gel. At least that's what we do and it works well.

Actually, the cheap, white toothpaste seems to work the best. I just keep a small, travel size tube in my dive bag for those occasions. You also need to re-clean the goggles/masks every now and then if they are not used.

You'll have to tell Caleb to wait until after Christmas to write with Jake. We are saving the cruise to use as a BIG gift. I know that he'll be interested in getting to know some of the kids before hand. That meant alot to them on the last cruise.

Anyone out there with some 96 girls? Katie will also want a group to bond with. Again, she won't know anything until after Christmas. Man this is a difficult secret to keep.

Yes ma'am my Taylor is a 96 girl. My CJ is a 95 boy, My Max is a 99 boy and my Nate is an 03 boy. But, they dont know about the trip yet. But we can go ahead and get emailing just dont talk about the cruise. You can talk DCL with them, but not our particular cruise, because I dont have that vacation time set in stone yet.

I am usually the absolute FIRST person on the ship... last cruise, I went with my sis, and we got to talking to the couple in front of us, one of whom was in a wheelchair... she even let me go ahead of her to uphold my tradition.
