Yeah, I did hear about that! I've heard it's hard to get away from the Carnival ships, but that is taking things a bit too far...... :crazy:

Mental note to self, dive far away from the cruise ship docks!! :earseek:

Every time I go in to Kevin's computer, there's an e-mail with a story about some diver being killed or nearly. It's certainly not a low risk sport. If the sharks don't get you, the cruise ships might. I keep telling myself that it's great Dad/daughter time.

Nothing is low risk (except checking my computer), :badpc:

trying to drive across town has it's own risks too. This is the main reason I'm all for training AND experience! Most of the accidents in scuba are caused by folks that dive once every two years on vacation and are not in shape and don't know their gear.

And it IS great father/daughter time. It's also better if there is a cute boy along for the dive too...... :banana:

Just wanted to add to the pot stirring......did you see the article about the dive/snorkel tour guide in Australia? Bit in half by a 20' shark. If I didn't love the water so much, stories like that might scare me. :scared:

True, but the shark only ate the boat crew guy, he left the tourist........

Greetings from San Diego!!!!!

No time to catch up on all the posts from the past few days...
San Diego is great! Haven't made it to Harbor House yet... but I can see it from the window of my hotel room... great view of Coronado, the Marina, and the city, as we are blessed with a corner room, so we have 180 degree views.

Ate at Ole' Madrid on Saturday, and got my Spanish food fix, had dinner at Max last night, and spent tonight at Sea World for a corporate event, and tomorrow night will be dinner at Harbor House, then a private Tim McGraw concert... and this is 'work'...???

Gotta run! I'll catch up later!!!
