Think of all the wonderful new things that have happened in this past year.

Nick's play, KT learning to scrapbook, the wonderful 10 day cruise. All major major successes that wouldn't have been possible without tyou.

Karen, that's the sweetest letter. I'd be feeling really guilty too. Do you think KT understands why Maggie is leaving? It sounds like she's accepted it, and is dealing with it in her own way. Just keep telling yourself that it's the best decision for your family. She just wasn't the right dog for you, and you weren't the right family for her.

If Alicia goes to NY, she would be staying with a Mom and her three kids. The kids are 10, 3 (and very active), and 1 1/2. I don't think another adult could stay in the room, I'd have to get another room. And I don't know how much sightseeing they would do, though Alicia hopes for some! The Mom is tiny, and looks like a teenager herself, I can just see this group out on the NY streets. And that's the thing that is worrying me!

Jim, sorry to put another item on your list, but I need a date from you guys for dinner. If Sharon and Lisa come stay with me on May 27, the next night might work. If we hurry, I could try to get you guys a room at the AP rate for a night. The kids could go to Disney Quest or hang at the pool while we do dinner. Sorry, we won't have access to Stormalong Bay!

Sharon, Spectromagic is on at the MK the night of the 27th. I haven't seen that in a long time! Maybe we could DIS meet with Amanda and anyone else around for that?

Awww, Karen....I'm so sorry......it is soooooo hard. It seems bad right now, but after time goes by, it won't hurt so much. You are not a bad Mom!! Look at all you do! Please. You made a tough decision, but that doesn't make you bad. And a little hint from someone with "older" kids......there will be a LOT more hard decisions....ones that will break your heart again and again. That's the little fine print that we all failed to read before we became Moms.

Even Diana, trying to decide whether or not to let Alicia go.....another hard decision, and also hard on the heart.

I'll try to book the AP now for the 5/27-5/30. Possibly we could dinner 5/30 (sunday) as we will be coming back from diving, as I understand it, on 5/29. I'll let you know what I find out about the hotel.

I understood that we (Alicia and I, mom is staying at DW) were going to Boca Raton (or somewhere in that area) for the 26-29 and then back to DW.

Are you planning on "staging" out of Orlando? I'd rather get a mid rated hotel/motel close to the diving for those days.

Hey, Diana - We do get spoiled ( and we deserve it ). Just got back from Jesse's cardiologist and his heart muscle looks stronger. No change in meds and the dr is very pleased.

It's time for us to talk. I made reservations for my trip to Pinehurst and WDW today so now it is time for diving. I think I have it all planned out. I'll give you a call this weekend.

Going to try out Matt's new wet suit a Blue Springs in the morning. Trying to get out before the bikers wake up. Have to do it early as we have 6 people coming for Saturday and Sunday.

SO, previous 10 day cruisers, tell me, from experience, when you think we will have a surge of DISers join our thread? At what point did you see a lot of new people start to join into your Christmas thread? I feel bad for anyone who is booking now, the price is SOOOO high! I am so very glad I booked when I did! I am now looking forward to being in WDW at the end of May! My DH is so sweet for letting me go! I need to get on the ball and order us all AP's!

Amanda.....I am probably going to need a little help from Mary or one of the others on this one...but if I remember correctly, we really probably only had 3 or 4 families hop on the bandwagon in the last month or two before the cruise. I think things really heated up at the 9-month pre-cruise mark.
Of course, that's about the time I found the thread, too!

Not that there is any problem with what we have, but I just thought this cruise would be full of DISers! I guess maybe becasue a lot of kids may still be in school by then? Good news about your baby, Sue! What medication has he been taking? The Vet suspects Elvis has a heart condition too, he has an ultrasound on Monday. I get to help hold him down, that will be fun! Most loving cat ever turns into a banshee when Vets get near him.

Amanda, don't ask this on the DVC board! LOL Lots of discussion on that subject over there. DVC is being extremely strict about this, you can only use the discount for members of your immediate family living in your house. Not even for grown kids living on their own, parents etc.

Guess you'll just have to join DVC! Your DH will go for that because of the AP discount, right?
