Hey Stacey, sneak away and join me for a few days. The kids wouldn't notice, would they? I'd split the cost on a room at GF, since I know you don't do Value! LOL
Just promise to buy her dinner; Corn on the cob, baked potato and rolls..... :rotfl2:

Just asked John, he doesn't think he'll dive...He thinks he'd need to get a refresher course - it's been too long - and the Y's in the Houston area do not offer YMCA scuba certification. I'm always up for letting John spend some quality time with the kids, going off on my own! ;)

Talk about COLD! :cold: That's just plain mean. I spill my guts, and this is what I get??

Diana, I would do "value"! ::yes:: I'm not THAT much of a snob:snooty: Heck, I even eat lighter these days...just ask Kevin!

And I would join you, except that I am going to be otherwise engaged at that time.:p

I'm laughing WITH you not AT you!! I've done a similar thing (almost), except I was standing there when the darn thing ran out of gas on a Sunday afternoon. :rolleyes1

At least I didn't have company for dinner.....wouldn't that have been embarrassing??

Sounds familiar... we learned we were out of LP in the middle of Hurricane Frances... about 10 minutes after we realized that our new generator was defective, and we had resorted to dinner on the grill... which meant that we THEN resorted to dinner that looked like Snoopy's dinner in a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving... (Snoopy served popcorn, jelly beans, toast, and pretzels- we weren't that far off, eating anything that was edible without cooking or opening the fridge.)

Ah, the DCL Princess from our dinner rotation. Such memories. You notice in the pics, she is standing. So we can all get a good look at her.

I need opinions! We are flying to Orlando late on May 25, as soon as school is out. On Thursday the 26th, the plan is to head to the east coast for three days, so the scuba divers can swim around in the ocean together. I've been trying to figure out how to amuse myself for three days while they are diving. I assume Sharon will be working on Thursday and Friday. I'm not much of a shopper, nor am I a beach person, and Kevin has already told me that he doesn't want to listen to me whine. So I'm kind of sort of thinking getting a value room at WDW if there are AP discounts to be had for the three nights (it is Memorial Day weekend, so maybe not), and doing some solo days there. The rest of the family would probably join me on Saturday night (I hope), and we check into OKW on Sunday the 29th. Anyone ever done a solo trip? Do you all think I would enjoy myself? Better yet, is anyone going to be in the area that would want to visit the parks with me, or go to DTD?

Sharon will be getting with you once she is done with the laundry, making lunch, unpacking my cloths, getting me a drink, paying bills, washing the dog.....

Now don't get me wrong, I love Disney. However, Sea World would be pretty cool to do on your own. The shows are great and the animals are so fun. You can do backstage stuff at Sea World too.

:flower1:Good morning cruisers!:flower1:

Happy Monday!

Hope everyone has a great week - back to work I go!

Susan, I agree, Sea World in Orlando is great. Haven't spent as much time there as I would like. But the current WDW AP and lack of transportation will kind of dictate. Still hoping for some AP codes and cheap lodging!

Diana - I do have to work Thursday and 1/2 day on Friday. Lisa and I could come over early Friday afternoon and meet you (just tell us where so I could get reservations. I am "assuming" my passes are still good in May (I think they start the block in June). Lisa is off school then, do you want a "10 year old" early? She is up for any adventure so long as it isn't "height ristricted". :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Your tickets are still good that weekend. The black out occurs in mid-June.

DD last day of school is on Wednesday, 5/25.

Diana - have you set the date yet for A&V?

Tonight begins the next installment of cooking school. For the next 5 Monday nights I will be learning new recipes so I can impress Sharon. Just trying to keep her happy by learning to cook new things. It's not like I enjoy going to cooking class. ;) ;)

I just sent you a PM, Sharon. I've suggested a couple of dates for dinner, too.
