Just an update....the contest is neck in neck. I know the person who is giving me a run for my money so I jokingly emailed her and asked how in the world she went from 4% to neck in neck with me in just a few hours?

She said she was having a get together at her house and no one as allowed to eat until they voted. Not sure how she pulled that off b/c you can't vote more than once per computer....

Ok, ok, I confess...you CAN.....we were able to vote once using safari, once using firefox. But that's it.

Hmmmmmmmm. or should that be Grrrrrrrrrrrrr?

Tried that with safari. I reset it. It didn't work. Most annoying thing is it wiped out all of my saved passwords (some of which I forget what they are!) Oops.

Hmm.....well, if you haven't noticed. Something has been missing from the DIS these past couple of weeks.

I wasn't going to make a big deal about it, but Mike has gotten some personal emails from fans, and he has explained a bit of what happened, so I guess I can let you guys in on it.

Forgoing all of the gory details. Mouse Matters is no longer. It was a combination of reasons....partly because of Mike having too much on his plate right now. And precipitated by a "disagreement" with DIS management on some things. Mike would have loved to keep doing it even though it was hard to fit everything in, but felt he could no longer go on.

Fearing banning, slander charges or anything else, I'll leave it at that.

But, should you chose to email someone and express your regret about Mouse Matters being gone, you can email webmaster@wdwinfo.com

but just don't tell them you heard it from me. Except you, Jim, who will link to this post and get me in trouble.

Hey you 10 day cruisers do you realize that next Saturday is the 4 year anniversary of when Karen started that thread. Was thinking about it today after reading about Virgil getting to the Med and then getting a pm from TKD Lisa. I thought we were coming up on an anniversary and sure enough it will be 4 years next Saturday. Since we'll be out of town I thought I'd mention it now. I posted over there and gave it a bump back to life.

I wondered why that thread showed up in my CP. I'll have to check it out.

4 years....what a great 4 years with our firends.

Last night was Lisa's celebration dinner for getting all A's during the school year. She chose V&A. We had a great time. Mike and Joan celebrated their anniversary.

The menu for Mike and Joan had "happy anniversary" across the top.

On Lisa's they wrote "congratulation for all As" What a nice touch.

Of course it was a great meal with the wine pairings!!

Maybe more details later, but it's time for us to walk down to Father's Day brunch
