Yikes, Virgil! Got my fingers crossed for you guys. Our plan, if we had actually gotten to go on the cruise, was to go to London about three days before.

Nope, no GPS....kinda goes with the no microwave, no cable, no answer phone thing we have going at our house....

Although after my past diving trip with Sam, he could use an underwater GPS...(was that mean.....will Jim or Kevin tell on me?)

Of course out of fairness, I was not even trying....

Good Morning All!

We had a busy day yesterday. Yesterday was the end of Mike's band camp for the jr highs in the school district. He auditioned on Sunday and was one of a handful of beginning band students who made the top band. He certainly had his work cut out for him this week, five days, or less, to learn music. One of their pieces they received on Thursday, for the concert last night. Even John brushed off his playing skills to help Mike work on the music. His band was playing was high school level music and thankfully, Mike was energized by the challenge. The concert was last night, and all three levels of bands did a very impressive job.

Maggie also came home from camp last night - tired, worn, and a bit sorry she had to leave camp. She was excited that even though they didn't get to go on a trail ride, they did learn how to ride bare back. I haven't heard much else from her yet. She and Mike disappeared before bedtime, sharing stories about their week. For all of his teasing that he wished she stayed at camp, I think Mike missed her.

The house is quiet, everyone is still asleep. It's kinda nice...
