No real vacations planned for us this summer. The kids will head off to Chicago for 3 weeks in July to Camp Grandma Grandpa - a week at each set to keep the peace. I'll fly up at the beginning with the kids for a few days and then John will fly up, spend a few days and bring the kids home...

Just might head to Columbus, picking up a girlfriend to do a whirlwind Ohio tour catching up with college friends while the kids are gone and John's in Chicago...

Mark, Mary and OM are you paying attention??? I'm giving you advance notice to plan your July vacations, thereby avoiding the invasion....

Not sure. I've seen some reports of it on the tech board. It works fine for me.

The last one is the view from the upper patio. The nice thing is that it was only $2400 total for the whole family for the week. Lots cheaper than a cruise. Just don't ask me what the airfare was.

Both sets of Grandparents live in Wheaton - so, we won't be too far from you, I'll be up July 11-16, Planned for the Cubs vs Astros series!!! Got to keep both kids happy - a pilgrimage to Wrigley is scheduled!!! and John will be up July 29-Aug 1...

The bottom half of the house is available. And cheaper than the top.

My first thought was to just let Jay do all the driving...but I need to do it too, just so I can say I did. For the most part, I don't think it will be too hard, except one major intersection (one that we'd have to use to go anywhere) has a roundabout. Wheeeeee....that ought to be fun!!

Off to an ortho consult for Mike after school. This is when we find out just how much the bank account will be whimpering for the next couple years...

Elizabeth went to her 2nd to last appointment today... and is so excited that she's getting hers off on 6/27. I won't tell you what it did to my bank account... thankfully, we paid it off last month. (I guess if you aren't paid in full, they just leave them on and make the kid suffer...)

Alicia was running really late to get to the Prom, so no pictures. Yeah, I wanted one too.

We've had a sad day. Our kitty Elvis died today. He was supposed to go a couple of years ago (heart problems), but he hung in there. He was a sweetie, and one of a kind.
