We went out and celebrated for you last night. It was a great night to sit on the back deck of JB's along the Intercoastal, eating Rock Shrimp. They went real well with Killians!!!

We wished all our DIS family could be there, but we tried to eat enough for all of you.

Yes, it was a real canoe...

Thanks Stacey - this bears reposting...Well, we are awake, and we did have a nice St. Patty's Day...up early to make it to the Irish Pub so that we could find a parking spot somewhere near the pub....and then to breakfast, well after a stop at the Pub to say Hi to everybody.


It was a grand day, with a nice, local parade, a few brewskis and fish and chips for me, corned beef sandwich for Sam. Hedgie, well, she stuck with beers....All the taps were replaces withh Guiness, Harps and Smithwicks....yippeee.......

Kiki KAren, all the bartenders cannot wait until Monday. the MOthership hosts a party for the area bartenders after they are caught up on sleep...

I pity the poor folk, tips not withstanding...You could not see for the people when we left, and yes, it was still daylight.

It is nice to be known as we were never shy of a beer on St. Patty's...Thye took good care of us.

Today, a lazy day, Mass, with 3 priests....hum...

And then the Spring attack on the jungle begins, before heading to the pub to recouperate and watch the Gators win...

Good Evening All!

The countdown is on!!! John's planning on being the 1st on the Grand Princess tomorrow a.m. (I think he just wants to get away from whiny, tired, over-stimulated kids) - won't be the same without y'all waiting outside the gates, too - or a precruise breakfast...Our meet thread is pretty excited to be so active... they got up to 25 pages...

Quick break - I'm supposed to be getting the medical release and schedule together for John's parents. We had quite an eventful day - didn't make the cave but, instead toured the San Antonio North Central Baptist Emergency Room for two hours. Our new resolution - don't leave home without Virgil!!!

John cracked his head open in the hotel bathroom - not much blood but pretty deep. Convinced him to get it looked at since we were leaving the country tomorrow. He elected for staples over stitches - no haircut... Since he had a conference call at 3:30 - we couldn't do the cave afterward - we needed to be home so he could take the call. Bonus for me - Starbucks Cafe in the hospital - we couldn't find one around the hotel so, I had to put up with lousy hotel coffee for two days... Good training for cruise coffee...

Ouch - poor John....Feel better......

Now, at the Irish Pub, they were paying to see hair being cut, for kids cancer. St. Baldricks sponsers the annual event....Yes, I was a target believe me....but heck, I was not drinking, I was only donating to a good cause, to hlep the kids.....Um, anyone know a good accountant that will buy that????????????????
