Good morning everyone! Never did get to my scrapbooking yesterday. We went out shopping instead. So today should be the quiet relax at home day. Hope everyone has a good one.

Good Morning!

Last day of Arsenic and Old Lace :cool1: Good run, only one day of a silent audience. That was tough on the actors and they were delivering one of their best performances. Oh well!

MIke had an off weekend for basketball - no games scheduled. It was a light Saturday without his games. Good timing, because Mike spent the weekend in bed with a stomach virus. This morning, I willlingly volunteered to stay home from early church so he could sleep in. Coffee, laptop, DIS and a quiet house - ahhh heaven! He's feeling much better this a.m.

I haven't ever done one, but sure am hoping to do the Eastern this time.

No phone call for me yet.......at least, I didn't see anything on the caller i.d. We were at Jordan's dance competition all day....ALL day. There were teams there from New Mexico and CA. I'm beat!
Her team came in third in their division.

Congratulations Jordan!!!

You mean we may be doing the Eastern together???? Awesome!!!

I was a bit sad to read that Tom Sawyer's Island at DL is being enhanced with a pirate theme...I liked POTC but, I'm not happy with the updates to my favorite classics. I wasn't happy to hear of the changes to the Pirates ride and those changes were logical.

My thought to ponder is: If the Haunted Mansion would have been as wildly popular - would there have been "updates" to the mansion?

Posting here in a safe haven - won't even venture to breath a word of my dismay on the CB :scared1:

They did a small revamp of Tom Sawyer Island a few years ago. While they had it closed, I was really afraid that they were going to "ruin" it. I think the only real memories I have of Disneyland from when I was really young are at TSI, running around with my brothers and playing in the fort. I can still picture it in my head.
We still go over there every time we go, just to walk around and enjoy the peace and quiet. There weren't ever a ton of people over there. Which is probably why they're doing this.
NOT happy that they're going to change it!

Hi everyone,

I think I peaked Augie's interest in the Eastbound repo cruise in August '08. I have to wait until, what, Tuesday before I could get a price, right? 15 days on the Magic...woo woo. Who here has done the repo?

We did the EB repo in 05. We had a blast. We plan on doing the EB repo again next year. We have our names on the list with the TA. Hopefully it wont be priced so high we cant manage it. If not, we will see yall on the ship. LOL

Congrats to Jordan and Ashley.

Giving us a Bump, we were almost on the second page.

Angie, I have a friend here in VA whose DH is from Lousiana and they can get 50 or 100 pounds of Crawfish air mailed here for $100. This was before Katrina but I wonder if you could get it mailed to you for cheaper. Just a thought.

I'll say Good Morning now, time to turn in. We had a quiet weekend for the most part. We taught our C&W class Friday night, Kevin helped with Scuba class on Saturday, Alicia had a show today. It was a dance I've seen several times, from the Nutcracker show. So I "let" Kevin take her. I was working on listings, last minute vintage jewelry Valentine presents!

Kind of waiting to see final word on prices too. I have not cancelled our reservation yet.

Good morning everyone! Up and getting ready to go to work. Can't believe we are almost done with January already. Time is flying by!

Good morning everyone. It was chilly 18 degrees this morning ... brrr!

Congrats to Jordan & Ashley!

We went to see High School Musical at the Fox Theater in Atlanta. We all had a good time. I thought that it was a local production but I guess I was wrong. The leads were paid professionals from all over the country, most with extensive resumes. I'll have to get the write-up from the Encore magazine. The set was nicer & more extensive than I thought it would be ... thus, leading me to believe this was not a local production. Maybe those of you in the theater will understand the partnership there. There were 2 new songs. The storyline was tweaked a little. They definitely played up how jealous Sharpay was of Gabriella - over both singing talents & Troy. The musical they were auditioning for was Juliet & Romeo. I didn't care for the way that they made some of the characters geekier than they were in the movie. The girl playing Gabriella had an amazing voice. Troy's solo voice was not so great but he did a great job harmonizing with Gabriella. It was a little different to hear the music in that theater sound versus true pop music. All in all, it was very good and we all enjoyed it.

I have not received a phone call from IC. I guess I need to fax in a request for 2009. At this time, I don't think we'll cruise in the summer of '08. Things may change, but as of now, we're not going.

Congrats to Ashley and Jordan! Where were the NM teams from, Stacey?

From Gallup....I double checked to see if they were from Albuquerque....

Morning everyone! I spent part of yesterday reorganizing my scrapbook materials and putting them into a case I got from Creative Memories way back in September. Today I'm hoping to finish that project...and tackle a few more......

Good Monday to all,,,,,

Sam and I are back from Ft. Wilderness camping for the weekend. After all, we have to air out the camper/trailer and what better way than at WDW. We stayed close to camp, eating at Trails' End, taking the boat to WDW to see Ducky Williams renditions at Tony's, relaxing at the Poly and dinner at Artist boat. The fireworks were splendid as we watched them from the boat, sipping Fairy Tale....ahh, life is perfect!!!!!!

It did rain Sunday when we were aout to break camp, an excuse to sleep a little later.

And I see that you had a busy weekend....must catch up...:hippie:

Gee - and a U-TOP with all my friends at Ft. Wilderness!!!!!

After taking it diving, I'm not surprised!! Those booties get a little smelly!!

Thanks for the info. My sister has gotten them flown in to Orlando before. The last time I checked it wasn't any cheaper than what we can get here.
